Karma Naturals Nail Enamel Primer – Non-Toxic, Vegan & Cruelty-Free Formula for Smoother, Longer-Lasting Polish

I went cruelty free a couple years ago and although this was easy for most makeup and beauty items, the struggle has been real for nail polish. I was a die hard OPI fan and have been having a terrible time finding quality nail polish since giving them up.I have literally had polishes that were "recommended" by people's reviews on Amazon that just peeled off the first day you used them. Terrible.This is a LIFE SAVER nail polish. I have the weakest worse nails. They literally rip off every time i try to grow them out! It's also worse because I'm an ex nail biter so I have a tendency to mess with my fingers with my teeth a lot. Usually, I use some nail polish to keep them "strong" enough to not ruin them with my mouth. But all the cruelty free polishes were so weak. This polish, the reviews I read were all true. It took a couple weeks. The first coat you can tell is at least a decent polish. Seems pretty normal compared to regular polishes. Then the longer i used it, a few weeks in, I noticed that my nails were rock hard (for me at least, they're usually all bendy). I kept them "short" by filing them for a few weeks trying to let them really build up some strength before letting them start to go long. Now, they're really nice nails. They are sturdy, hard to the tap on the table, and the shade of this polish is pretty much clear with a hint of baby pink to it so it actually makes your nails look better, less yellow tinted. I cannot say enough great things about this polish. It has allowed me to have strong long nails for the first time in my life without having to get gel or powder nails at the salon. I highly recommend trying this polish, it is worth the expensive price.

I am not normally one to put much effort into my nails, but the COVID-19 lock-down left me with lots of extra time on my hands and I decided to put some of that time to use by working on my nails. I chose this product because I hoped it would strengthen my nails without doing undue damage to the environment, and after three weeks of use I am confident that I made a good choice. None of my nails have broken since I began using this polish, and the one nail that I had damaged before starting to use the product by bending it in half while carrying heavy bags has remained intact - a fact which I attribute to this product. It comes in a small bottle, but you don't have to use much to produce a clean, elegant look, and it dries really quickly, which is important if - like me - you always find yourself doing your nails right before you need to take a shower or go to the bathroom. I was not paid or otherwise compensated to write this review, but I really liked this product and wanted to let others know about how well it worked for me. Also, I'm bored because of the COVID-19 shut-down, but that's a secondary reason.

I can't grow them long without gel, but I don't want to use gel anymore because it really damages them. While "Karma Organic" might be a slightly misleading name (probably not technically organic), the clean formula is ok.The results:My nails genuinely look healthier since using this consistently. It provides that perfect smooth base for polish application, then seals everything in with a salon-quality glossy finish. Even when I wear it alone, my nails have that healthy, well-maintained appearance.The Reality Check:Yes, like their polishes, the fast-drying formula can cause the product to thicken in the bottle over time. But honestly? I go through it fast enough that it's rarely an issue, and the performance is so good that I don't mind repurchasing.My Take:This 2-in-1 has simplified my nail routine while improving my nail health. It's become an essential part of my nail routine, and I can't imagine doing my nails without it.Highly recommend - especially if you're already a fan of their polishes!
