Fresh Gourmet Tortilla Strips, Tri-Color, 0.5 Ounce (Pack of 100)

Quick, easy, tasty and healthy all in one item, who does not love that? I use these in salads, wraps, over soups, in Hispanic dishes. Perfect portion controlled size allows you to get just the right amount and still watch your calorie intake. You can take them with you for a snack or to a party for toppings.

These little bags of tortilla strips were a major disappointment. Each bag is 70 calories, but it's about a handful per bag, so there must be a lot of oil in them. They arrived stale and without much flavor. Perhaps it wouldn't be as noticeable on a salad, but I prefer to always use fresh ingredients. Take a pass on these if you are remotely a fan of real tortilla strips.

These are AMAZING!!I bought them to use for salads and eggs, however my 3yr old eats them like chips...this is the child that eats nothing, so I am thankful and just bought another case ;-)My reason for only rating it 4-stars...it contains fd&c 40, my 2 yr old is allergic to this colorant that is made from petroleum(it makes her HYPER-like no sleep for 40hrs type of hyper-which is a common reaction to this oft used ingredient).These are also made in mexico, but contain limited ingredients(color is the only artificial one), HOWEVER, despite the bad rap, Mexico actually has stricter standards than we do for prepared packaged foods(but not for restaurant type foods).

This product should be offered in the much larger size bags found in the supermarkets, as it is somewhat inconvenient and inefficient for a family to have to open as many as a dozen tiny packets at a meal -- it is like putting the little take-out packets of ketchup on the dinner table.

my only complaint is the short shelf life the best by date is aug 2017, so I have only 2 months to comsume 100 packages

These are a great topping with any cheese dish. The colorful chips look and taste great. I first got introduced to them from a meal kit that I subscribe to and have used them several times. I enjoyed them so much that I bought a box of them to have on the days without a meal kit and when I'm experimenting with new food ideas.

Stale! Won't order again.

I use these for a small snack. Works well for a low carb diet. Also a good price for these.
