How do you even put the batteries in?

I had no problems putting the batteries in. Maybe just needed a little bit more force but they went in. The sealer works perfectly fine.

Isn't this meant to be a quick little sealer for that open bag of chips and other small actions? We are not freezing steaks here

Could someone help? cannot open the battery compartment. Have tried pushing both ends of item but cannot open for batter installation.

I had a similar problem. What I did was, I pushed down hard and pushed back. That helped me.

For 12.99 for 3 what did y'all expect ? It is not a vacuum sealer.

No it's not a vacuum sealer. It's ok. When I've used it I always end up cutting instead of sealing. Not sure if I'm pressing to hard. It's ok for the price I've only used the pink one.
