Multi purpose spear
So I'm going to say this now, when I bought this I didn't expect a whole lot. We're talking a good amount of material for a rather minuscule price. The blade steel is 1065 so a good choice for an outdoor beater but it does require maintenance, the handle is a sort of abs plastic, very very tough. I've thrown this like a spear, split wood ( pine and oak ), cut down brush, small and large. It gets the job done! I did bend the tip while throwing but expected it, I was able to heat it up and bend it back. I believe I have truly tested this in harsh conditions and its held up amazing! It also makes for a decent chair backrest, and it even works as a canoe paddle if your in a pinch👌

A fun if minimally functional wall hanger!
I ordered this because the advertisement clearly stated that it was a battle ready blade. If you are battling cardboard boxes, or plastic bottles, then sure it's battle ready. For the purpose of actual fighting (which of course no one really does), it would be very inadequate. The blade is 1065 high carbon steel so it will take a good sharp edge, but its thickness is about that of a typical machete, not a sword. The handle seams quite resilient if a bit uncomfortable, and the pins that hold the tang in place also seam adequate, and could even be taken out if you wanted or needed to replace them. That said their is a strange little protrusion on the handle below where the blade-ward hand would grip. It serves no purpose on this blade, and just gets in the way. This handle shape is the same that is on another long handled weapon this company makes and that is a single edged blade, which would tell me that the protrusion is meant to assist in indexing the blade. This blade however is double edged, there is no front or back of the blade, and therefore the protrusion is useless here. So if you want a cool looking long handled blade that you can use for form work and light cutting, or even to wear with a costume or hang on a wall, then this should suit you beautifully, and the price is quite reasonable. However if you are looking for a real sword, that you could rely upon should the world descend into chaos or the dead begin to walk, then you should move on and defiantly be prepared to spend quite a lot more. Overall I am happy with this purchase, because I knew what I was getting despite what the advertisements claimed, and have no complaints with the service or speed of delivery.

Is sharp enough to cut bottles and is sturdy enough, however the grip is not very handy ...
a hybrid between a spear and a gladius, Is sharp enough to cut bottles and is sturdy enough, however the grip is not very handy so if your hands get sweaty it could be hard to grip, I easily fixed this minor problem by wrapping it with hockey tape. Also be careful how you prop the blade on the floor, as it actually managed to poke a hole through my sheath, would recommend you prop it with the handle touching the floor, not the blade, otherwise its a great piece and feels light and quick in the hands

Ikiwa
I got this thing because snakes and while doing research it’s actually called a ikiwa and the back strap thing will not fit over an adult if your going to carry it around in the sticks but that’s not what I got it for it’s dope.

Awesome
Listen this thing is bad, when you hold it it feels awesome, it’s long, it’s a weapon for sure, for the money it’s a no brainer, one complaint the nuts and bolts holding the blade to the hilt were loose and the nut side does not have shaped holes and the holes are a 1/16th bigger then the bolt, I can’t imagine getting a tool in there I will figure something out but I’m sure I’ll damage the holes a bit.

Sword good sheath bad
The sword is everything I could have asked for at the price point. The only reason for the -1 star is the sheath is much worse than I expected. I broke the sheaths buckle strap within 5 minutes of careful use. This will make a great bedside piece nonetheless but I’ll have to really plan ahead before I travel with it
