First impressions: beautifully packaged in a presentation box with instruction card on care and maintenance. It would make a perfect present. The board itself is of end grain acacia wood which should be kind to your knives. With regular oiling, it should last years. Only time will tell how it holds up to sustained use. Size-wise, the board is ideal for most kitchen prep needs while not being too large to overwhelm your counter space. It also looks great. I’d say this board hits the sweet spot where quality and value meet. All-in-all, I’m happy with my purchase.

Beautiful present, good quality

Aesthetically a very pleasing board but from a practical point of view it cannot be compared to previously used end grain boards and will now keep it as a spare chopping board.Especially with sharper knives it is not smooth to cut on as a good quality end grain board. Any sharp knife will “bite into the board” with each motion making cutting dangerous on this board quite dangerous.Also as described in other reviews also after just a couple weeks of light use (once or twice per day for only cutting a few vegetables each time) there is noticeable marks (this board was also properly oiled before using). It’s a shame as it’s aesthetically pleasing but not practically useful and especially for the price it cannot be recommended.

Quality end grain chopping board. Easy to care for.

Have had this board just over a week with very little use but it has split in the middle and seems to scratch very easily with a butter knife!For the price paid I would of expected a more robust board.I should have gone to Tesco instead, would not recommend

its simply a beautiful looking board, its easily marked so you need oil to recondition the board. it ha an hard surface which helps with a clean cut without blunting the sharp knife
