I did a lot of research and read a lot before buying this knife, so I knew what I was getting into, lol. You can buy these things on AliExpress and eBay under a zillion different names, all with the same questionable advertising. This one is my third, because my first was stolen and the second had a moving handle, lol. I have the Viking style in black, and while it says, “Huusk Japan,” it’s made in China and needed sharpening out of the box, just like the other two. Having said all that, I’m a fraternity chef and use this knife for literally everything. It needs sharpening every couple of weeks, and a 600/1000 whetstone works great. I dropped it and bent the tip a bit, but I was able to sharpen it out. My only complaint is that the belt loop broke after months of use, so here I am, about to buy this knife a fourth time. I love the weight of it, the shape and style, that it’s comfortable slicing tomatoes, herbs, trimming meat and annihilating pineapples. I’ve thought about adding more knives and getting a roll bag, but honestly, I’d just fill it with these.

This knife is weighted great, sharp, and has a great feel to it. Rite out of the box it it cut through frozen sausage like butter. Cleans easy and I love the thickness of the blade. Im a chef by trade and I have used this knife at work and home. I would 100% recommend this knife. I will be buying more huusk knives and am also buying one for a friend.

Bigger than expected, not a small knife at all. Cuts and chops excellently and also comes with a very nice sheath. Overall very satisfied with it

I was surprised to receive a high quality knife at this price point. Very heavy knife and works both as a cleaver and tough vegetable cutter. Arrived sharp and is still sharp after moderate use. WARNING THIS IS A CARBON STEEL KNIFE AND MUST BE WASHED AND DRIED IMMEDIATELY AFTER USE.
