Good White Elephant Purchase
Happy I grabbed it to bring to a White Elephant, and it's a fun little thing. It's smaller than I thought, but that's totally on me. Still very happy with it!

Fun challenge
Fun and challenging. I got this for my child as a sensory toy and challenge. It’s fun without being too challenging. I enjoy watching him figure it out.

Sturdy, small, visibly appealing.
Initial impression is: Visibly appealing, definitely smaller than expected, but feels good in my hand. The sphere enclosure is thick and comparable to a pet treat/snack ball. Color is not too dull or bright, however the way it is attached/glued together is messy looking and could be improved. The price for this item definitely is expensive and could probably be found for $5. Definitely could function as a gift item or party favor if you can expense the cost.Engaging for the most part but a bit frustrating for the kiddo who it was gifted to, but it is a good learning tool to embrace patience.Overall concept is to maneuver the ball through the maze and into the hole that tunnels through to the opposite side of the ball; an endless loop. Challenging for children for sure which was the goal of the purchase.

More difficult that advertised.
I bought this for my 6 yr old grandson for Christmas. I was just trying it out before I wrapped it, and still have not been able to solve it. Trying to 'preplan' your path is very difficult because the ball is so large that you lose your starting point. I am hoping he won't get frustrated. I do have a stylus with a magnet at one end that I will try to see if it will catch the ball and help move through the maze.

Fun little toy game for under 10
Good for what it is. Served as a stocking stuffer for us. My 9yo thought it was fun for a while.

Doesn’t work
My son loves perplexes balls and other mazes so I thought this would be a nice small ball that he could take with him more easily. It does not work at all.The the little metal ball is so tiny and light that you have to turn the blue ball far in order to get it to move. Unfortunately, because the blue ball is curved, and all the tracks are curved, the little metal silver ball goes too far and it falls off the side. There is no way to finesse the metal ball. My son is 17, so there is no issue with hand eye coordination. He uses mazes to just relax before bed. I am sending it back and I feel bad for any smaller kids who try to actually use this because it will not work the way it is designed.

These entertained my grand kids ages 5 to 11. The mazes are different on each. some are more difficult than others making them good for a range of ages.
