Everyone in our family has one of these umbrellas. Clever design - the umbrella folds the opposite way to most umbrellas so the water doesn't run into your bag when closed. The material and umbrella itself is very strong so can withstand the good old British weather - strong winds and heavy rain. Easy to open and close with an automatic button - an excellent all round umbrella for a very good price - highly recommend

We bought 2 of these to use in the welsh weather. The umbrellas were easy to open and close, both by pressing the same button, then you'll need to physically pull the umbrella back down. On one very windy and rainy day, one of the umbrellas got bent at the stem from the wind and the mechanism to open/close stopped working and we had to throw it away. We communicated with the seller and they were fantastic in responding and kindly gave us a replacement very promptly. The umbrellas are not the most compact but they are not very heavy considering they are automatic ones. On the most foul days we think no umbrella will make it, but these would be totally fine on less horrid days.

This is a great, sturdy, good build quality, 10-rib umbrella which is a good size in a thick material but still small enough that it would fit in a large handbag. I haven't (and wouldn't) test it out in really high winds but it's great for light wind and heavy rain.You press a button for it to automatically fully open and then press the button again for the canopy to close, but you have to manually push the canopy and handle together with a bit of force for it to fully retract and close. Colour is canary yellow rather than a bright yellow or mustard/ochre yellow.This Conlon 33.5cm long 10 rib Conlon umbrella has been photographed next to a yellow Vicloon 20cm long 6-rib mini travel umbrella for comparison.

i’ve had this umbrella for about 2 years and it doesn’t flip inside out in regular winds but if it’s very strong winds like a storm it does flip. much better than any other umbrella i’ve owned i’ll never go back to regular ones. the button doesn’t press in easily which means you won’t shut it on yourself if the wind picks it up and you grip the handle but it is very easy to use. it doesn’t get the floor wet when you come inside cause of the flipped design it’s been a floor saver and if the price is a factor for you think about all the little cheap ones you’ve bought over the years that break after one gust of wind if your from the uk think about how many times you’ve been stuck in the rain there’s a bit of wind and suddenly your brolly is broke and you still stuck in the rain, speaking from experience this doesn’t happen to me anymore 10/10 would definitely recommend to a friend i can’t say anything bad about this umbrella

First time I used this was when I was on my way home from being with my friend. I put the umbrella up it opened then closed it’s self. I tried again and it was just faulty.I could of got a cheap one from a pound shop and it would do a proper job. I bought a dearer one as I’d wanted a decent one.I just had to walk home and got soaking wet….Won’t be buying another product from here!

Good quality, robust and great value for money

I like the fact the umbrella is compact and folds in a way that doesn't leave water dripping everywhere. Downsides are that due to the size it can only accommodate one adult comfortably. Also, the umbrella does not hold up well in high winds, I have often had to hold the umbrella in a certain angle to avoid the umbrella from being blown inside out. Overall, for the price you pay you get a nice compact umbrella, just have to manoeuvre it in a way to stop it from turning inside out in high winds.
