I am a Valenciano living in the USA and have been wanting, for some time now, to get my hands on a paella and paella burner from Machika. The paella pan is made in my home region of Valencia, in the town of Alacuas, and it is of great quality and craftsmanship. The burner is just what I expected and needed, it lets you regulate the flame on the rings separately so you can obtain the rice just the way you like it. At home everyone likes the "socarrat" that means the slightly burnt effect around the edge.Great purchase to obtain a great paella.

The unit set is of great quality. I haven’t fire it up yet. But I checked for leveling, it was excellent. The pan is of good quality and will upload more photos afterwards. However, you need a part to connect this unit. After half hour, the home depot gentleman helped to find regulator with replacement hose on the BBQ aisle. Item number 1001-533-456.

Seems its weel made, but afterwaiting a month, parts from the stand were missing. Not acceptable that something this pricy is missing parts.Contacted manufacter to try to resolve and their response after weeks and multiple attempts, is that I need to return it and receive a refund once they received. Approximately 1 month. Unacceptable too.Just things to consider before buying.Burner works great, but stand is incomplete.

GREAT FORO PARTIES, USED IT 3 TIME IN A MONTH. PAN REQUIRES MAINTENANCE...PURCHASED ANOTHER THAT IS ENAMEL COATED AND A COVER SO I CAN LEAVE IT ASSEMBLED.

We recently hosted a paella party, and I was so excited to try this out! The item came nicely packaged, and was very easy to set up. The resulting paella was phenomenal, and clean-up was a breeze.My one major complaint with this is that I can only barely turn on the propane gas to it, otherwise it releases so much gas that it puts itself out. Didn't know that was even possible, but here we are. Once I figured out how sensitive it was, it worked like a charm!I do wish they sold some kind of wind-shield with it though. Might be something for them to consider in the future!

I highly recommendedAfter several uses, here go “The secrets”:-For this paella pan (14 servings) use up to 7 cups of rice plus at least double the liquid (14 cups), I used 8, but it overflowed with liquids.- Most outdoor floors are tilted, make sure that you turn your paella pan once in a while.- Avoid windy areas, so the paella cooks evenly.- I use barbecue foil style to cover it and let it rest.- After each use, wash it and dry it, then apply a thin layer of vegetable oil, and rub it with a paper towel to remove the excess oil. This keeps it from rusting.I hope you have great times with your family and friends 🦐🥘😎
