Does the job well!
Great product. True to color. Allows me to have mic, headset (both ear and mic piece), speaker, and a USB headset running at the same time. When I am using the jack, it allows speaker and headphone to be heard at the same time, which is good for me as I'm HOH and use headphones to allow myself to hear better, while still sharing with my spouse the sound. It's sturdy, and so far has survived my children yanking on it. The cord is pretty long which is also nice, but to be honest, I've ran it over a few times with my chair which sucks. I need to find better placement, as that is a user error.Definitely would buy again!UPDATE! 2 yrs later this item is going strong. On top of that today I discovered I can connect bluetooth dongles to it, and have my wireless headset work with both mic and sound. Im pretty excited by this, because I was having a lot of chopping issues because my USB ports are behind my PC causing noise interrupting the bluetooth connection. Now, I can place it on my desk with this and have a good strong connection. Pleasantly surprised! What a great purchase.

Pretty Decent
Bit of backstory:My onboard soundcard fried a few months ago, and after a long time of trying to find a solution of not having to pay an arm and a leg for a new motherboard it was suggested to purchase and external soundcard. I purchased a different one prior to this, and I hated it because it bent easily from my headset constantly moving. I saw this one and I've liked Beexcellent products in the past so I decided to give it a go.Now. Here's my thoughts:Pros:1. Braided CordI love braided cords. They're awesome and I don't have the issue of my cat chewing through rubber and potentially shocking himself.2.LengthI feel the length is decent as it wraps from the back of my tower easily to the front. Makes it pretty easy for laying in bed while watching movies.3.SoundSound is great with it and I don't have issues with it cutting out for absolutely no reason. (Don't get a Plugable guys, it sucks.)4. Amount of SlotsIt's got multiples for what you need, so that's nice, depending on what kind of headset you have.Cons:1.Jack tightnessThe biggest problem I have with this product is how loose the jack can be. Occasionally, the product combined with the length of my headset, will catch on my computer chair and yank loose easily. Something to consider as a basic annoyance.2.The Braided CordNow I know I just praised it for having a braided cord, but hear me out on this. I'm not sure if it's just me, but because of the braided cord it has a hard time laying flat. Because of that it twists around and my headset ends up get twisted around and I have to unplug it and straighten it out.3.LightWhile the light is cool on it, I kind of feel it's unnecessary.

Great Sound Card on the cheap
Setup was very easy. Plug it into a USB port. Sound is quite good for a card that is not high end.

I was shocked this worked so well
I needed something I could plug in easily to switch between my speakers and headphones easily without having to plug them in. I pulled this thing in out of the box, didn't even read instructions. Plugged it in, switched the device on the PC to its name, everything is plug/play. Everything worked right as I plugged it in and I like the braided the cord. I even connected my Webcam to one of the ports and there was no lag. I'm very happy with this little device.

My worry: Works from an External USB hub? Yes!
I ordered this with about 50/50 confidence that a failing 3.5mm AUX output (headphone jack) could be replaced on my 3-4 year old 15" Apple MacBook Pro (running Windows 7 Pro through Bootcamp, so... complicated). I was very happy to discover that while the sound quality isn't quite what it was through the original AUX jack, this unit worked not only from one of the two (and only two, on this machine: both occupied) USB ports, but from an external USB hub I have hanging off one of those two ports. For "hopping" twice like that, I can't complain about anything, and the quality of sound still allows for all-day music to be enjoyable... the sound profile changed slightly, but again, from nothing to almost good-as-new, and very affordably. Hope this review helps someone else wondering about the external USB hub idea!

As advertised.
The sound card on my motherboard went out and I didn't want to spend big bucks on a new one. This product did the job. My speakers work and my headphones do as well. I'm happy.
