"I needed a reliable Thunderbolt 4 cable for my new external hard drive, and this Razer cable has been fantastic. It's incredibly fast, allowing me to transfer large files in seconds. The build quality feels premium, with a braided nylon exterior that seems very durable. I also appreciate the included cable strap for keeping things organized. This is a great thunderbolt cable to have that is durable and great performance. The first thing is that this cable is actually a lot thicker than the usual type c cable but I assume this is because of the thunderbolt capability. The cable is made of nylon fiber which actually made it less likely to fray and damage. I love having this for my external GPU device. You do get a longer length cable than usual so you can be sure that the cable will provide you a good amount of slack unlike the one provided with the razer external GPU. I could actually go a bit further with my laptop. I do not have to be right next to the external GPU which is great. It works pretty well with my external GPU and laptop. The cable has a pretty reliable feel and connections. This cable works well with thunderbolt port on my lenovo and on my apple laptop. You can plug it into a thunderbolt device or any type c port. Another thing about the cable is able to sync and charge my device without issues if I wanted to use it to charge my macbook. It has no connection issues which is great for this laptop. Even if you happen to tap the cable a little bit, it does not lose connection that I can tell. I also do not see any issues with the port being bent overtime. There is also no heating issue. It does take a bit of force at first to plug the cable into the laptop and device the first few times. For charging, be aware that the actual charging capacity of the cables are dependent more on what outlet you are using. If you are using a fast charging port or a wall outlet you will actually get a faster charge then you would from a laptop USB. When plugged directly into my mac, it actually charges pretty quickly but again depends on the outlet you are using. The cable do not have any issues with heating or connection. The cable itself is longer than standard three feet. In terms of durability, it does you do have to worry about the cable getting frayed or anything. The cable is SUPER thick and can make it more difficult to consolidate. There is no tie which is a bit of a bummer. A nice thing about the material color is that you cannot see it get visibly dirt which is great. The color of the cable has yet to fade from overall use. The cable is able to transfer about the same speed as a traditional type c to type c cable or at thunderbolt speeds. This did work as a charging cable for my mac but only when I needed it to be. I would not actually recommend using this for that purpose unless it is your only option. Overall I think this cable is pretty nice. It is longer than your traditional cable but not by much. It is a thicker and one of the more durable cable. It works well with my external gpu and gave me a better gaming performance on my laptop.

I love that this is a 2-meter (6.5 foot) cable instead of being 1 meter or less like most of them. The cord is a bit thicker than the TB4 cable that came with my popular-brand dock and the braiding is smooth and with tight knitting. Unlike some cables, the metal plug has absolutely no wiggle in its molded housing and my engineer husband says the connector and contacts appear to be well built (but he'd need to destroy it to confirm this, and I won't let him). Performance wise, this powers and charges my performance 2-in-1 laptop through my TB4 dock that has two 4k monitors attached. It also delivered full speed to my husband's TB3 dual NVMe external enclosure. It is pricey and I'm sure part of that price is paying for the Razer brand, but it has held up to almost daily plugging and unplugging for the past four weeks and has worked consistently throughout. Highly recommend.
