I recently started carrying the Sabre Red Pepper Spray on my daily walks through the greenspace next to my house and through residential neighborhoods. I walk about 3-5 miles each day and encounter many dogs, including some breeds that can be unpredictable. The size of the can is good. Compact and easy to pocket. But the first time I put it in my pocket, clipped on, the plastic clip broke right off. Extremely annoying. I cannot speak to the mace itself, and as I hope to never need to use it, I probably never will. But if I do, I'll update here.

This is great every woman should have this I read an article that this was the best pepper spray or the old term mace but it has a 12 foot range so you were able to protect yourself before someone gets that close to you, which I pray, never happens to anyone. But it does give you a sense of security to have it and it’s really easy to carry. You can carry it in your front jeans pocket, and it’s easy to turn on or in the active position and the same way to close or put it in the deactivation position. I think every woman or man anyone should get this is such a great price and it’s rated so highly not only by Amazon, but my other self defense websites and people who advise on that.

I haven't used them yet but immediately I noticed the locking mechanism is useless. Put it in ur pocket and it slides over into the on position. I’m going to use a dab of super glue to keep it from sliding into the armed position. the clip is ok but it’s an awkward clip and sticks out pretty far clipped in ur pocket. I wouldn’t buy again.
