Iguanus in my pocket
I saw some transformer fans on X/Twitter that I follow talk up the legacy series core class iguanus.I was abit skeptical because I hated the pretenders line as a kid, but holy crap, this is an awesome figure. For lil' guy, he's VERY poseable.HIs alt bike mode is pretty cool, save for not having a freakin kickstand to balance it.Plus, if you get the core class skywarp and rodimus, their weapons along with iguanus' combines into this sick bastard sword.Definitely worth picking up for a cool lil, pocket-former.

More quality than meets the eye
The downsides: Iguanus is small. His wheels might need to be sanded down a bit to remove excess plastic from gumming up the spinning. Silly "gun" fork. The plus side? Super articulated. Like more than a Core class should be -- head, neck, waist, arms, elbows, legs, knees, ankles... And the ball joints are large and durable too (I'm looking at YOU core-class Hot Rod). The coloring and etching are also VERY detailed making his hollowed-out limbs feel more solid, again all this despite being a small class figure. The wheels are wide and well balanced that the motorcycle can be upright without a kickstand. And ...other core-sized Transformers can ride Iguanus in bike mode!As a bonus, there is a strong homage to the original lizard pretender/motorcycle robot (and a strong nod to his original biography where he wished he could be a motorcycle lizard).

A great bot mode but a weak alt mode
This doesn't affect my rating but the toy packaging arrived damaged so be weary if that's a concernThe box and boxart look nice and hold the figure well. The bot mode looks great with a cool reptile sculpt and a interesting choice of colors that really pop. The articulation is good especially for core class. The weapon looks nice especially with the flames although I'm not a fan of the combining concept. It feels very sturdy with a good amount of plastic and screwed together well. All the joints are solid except for the backpack which holds together mostly fine though I wish the tabs weren't so loose. My biggest issue is the alt mode while having a fun transformation looks silly, it tried going for a cool Sci fi bike but just looks like the robot mode holding some wheels and hiding the head. The gun integration looks silly which is expe however it could've actually improved the bike if it integrated into the back like a thruster.

Fun figure
For about 12 dollars, this guy really gives you bang for buck. It's super posable, fun to play with, easy to transform, and well made. Paint is great and durable. while Iguanus is kinda a nobody character, this toy is one I keep on my desk to fiddle with. Definitely recommend this one

Better quality then some transformers
This one is a lot stronger and durable then some other transformers that my son has. Limbs don't fall off every time you transform it which is a big bonus! It's the exact size and appearance as described. Has excellent details, very well made. My son loves it and has a lot of fun with it!

Amazing figure for the price
His size and posability are amazing for the price my only problem is the ball hinge for one of the tires on the back is flimsy but beyong that he's perfect 9.5/10

A standout in a class of winners
Except for Hot Rod, the Kingdom and Legacy Core Class subline has been one hit after another, but Iguanus really stands out even among them. Make no mistake, he's only going to be about as tall as an adult's palm is wide, but there's a whoile lot of awesomely evil purple lizard-man packed into that, with articulation that would make a GI Joe jealous and a serviceable if stylized motrorcycle form as well. The only thing even slightly disappointing here is his little H-shaped weapon-thing, designed to be combined with the slingshot Skywarp stole from Wheelie and the sword that comes with a crappy dollar store Hot Rod knockoff... and even that has a nice paint job and detailing to match the rest of his utterly legendary sculpt and decoration. An absolute must-have for anyone old enough to fit a post into a slot and not too old to think robots, dinosaurs, or motorcycles are cool.

great for a collection
great figure, it’s articulated enough to get some pretty good poses out of it while also being fun to carry around in your pocket. very easy to flip between modes in a matter of seconds. Alt mode pays homage to the original pretender’s while still being unique, it’s abstract but charming.
