I am using this as a face mask to help with acne caused by very oily skin.- Very Drying - This facemask dries very quickly. I would not recommend more than 5-10 minutes. It feels very drying on the skin to the point of almost irritation, so if you have very dry skin this may not be for you or you would have to only do it in very small amounts of time.- No Instructions - There are no instructions so you will have to research your own formulas. For now I am doing a very basic 2 teaspoonful of Kaolin power and 1 teaspoonful of water mixture. This is more than enough for 1 face mask application.- Large amount - Since I am only using 2 teaspoonfuls each face mask, this 2 lb bag could easily last a year or more.- Acne Efficacy? - I can not tell if there is improvement and if this would be the cause as there are too many variables. I have not gotten worse however.- No Scent - There is no discernable scent I can tell upon mixing or application.

Not at smooth and soft as other brands I have bought, but does what I need in my soaps.

This clay is very light in color and works like most of the other colors I've had in the past. When mixed with water and made into a mud texture it can be applied to your skin and used to pull dirt, oil and, in my opinion, toxins out of the skin.While this clay powder can be used to make soaps, creams, lotions and bath bombs, I've only ever used it as a face mask, but with good results.When I use this regularly as a mask I definitely see improvement in my skin.

This arrived as a bag in a bag. The internal bag was split and the kaolin was spilled out!!! I wanted to use this for things related to skin, but now I do not think it is clean enough!

Worked great for a cleansing face mask!
