Great handheld UV light
Works as advertised. Please read the instructions about learning how to use it in different lighting conditions and you will be good. I find it best used in darkness with proper polarized eye protection. Don't think because it isn't as bright as a flashlight that it is not affecting your eyes.

Garbage
Don’t waste your money. It is very poorly made and doesn’t work properly. If you screw and unscrew the barrel repeatedly you can make it flicker on briefly but it’s very weak even when it flickers on. Then it goes out again and you must shake it and unscrew the barrel some more. Expect nothing more than this.

Nice item
Nice UV LED Ultraviolet Gemstone light, but the quality of the material is not perfect. i think it is Chinese

Not Very Bright
For the price, this is a good light. It doesn’t work well on red calcite or rubies, but it does work well on green willemite. My biggest concern is that it is not very bright, but it is inexpensive.

Gemstone Light
We go gem mining and this light identifies a ruby from a regular rock. Works very well.

Amazon is the greatest!
Amazon was very fast in replacing this item that apparently got misplaced somewhere along the way. Kudos to Amazon for being so diligent and understanding with this mishap. Replacement item arrived in record time and was exactly what I wanted to check some of the gemstones in my collection. Item was perfect for my needs. Not impressed
The light is not bright enough to see anything. Tried shining it on my minerals and nothing. Lesson learned about buying an inexpensive light.
