I had 2 disc replacement, incision from the front of the neck. My neurosurgeon made sure the cut looked like the natural fold in your neck, which I didn't have at the level he needed, so he created one! LOLMy neighbor was a nurse and been 'around the block', year 91 and still sharp as ever, so when she recommended to look for "D-Alpha Tocopherol" Vita C, I trusted her!When I've researched there's so many brands that say they do the job and dilute it with other ingredients. This one was perfect, doesn't smell, not sticky. perfect!I used it when I get out of the shower and it would moisten the scar tissue area. I wouldn't itch because when I'd forget to use it, I'd tend to itch at the incision site. I'm a year out of post op (from yr 2022, it's 2013 now) and I recommend this!I've shown this to my other GF who had surgery for her thyroids and she's using this too!My guy friend who had surgery uses that popular brand scar gel and he always itches at the site. He won't believe me that this helps the collagen surface of the skin, moisten and to reduce the scarring.

Great product as i expected

This was a the 1st time I ever used Vit E oil in pure form so I have no comparison with others. However I like it and I mix it with Almond oil for better consistency. Otherwise its thick and odourless. I am unsure if it has helped in healing scars and stretch marks yet however it does moisturize well. It has not given any side effects if not helped so I am going to continue the use. I use it directly on my hair and skin. So far so good. Results awaited

I love this. I love the fact that it is unscented because there are too many smells that bother my asthma. My only complaint with this is that the bottle is very thick so it is hard to squeeze it out of the nozzle. I really wish this had a dropper top. It is very hard to get it out. A dropper would make it so much easier. That is my only complaint with it.

I bought this to use on a very long and raised scar from recent knee replacement surgery. Not even a capful is needed, just a few drops, and I firmly massage it onto the scar and either sides. The Vit E oil absorbs into skin well and didn't leave a greasy feeling. I've used it daily for 3 months and the scar has flattened and is not dark purple as it was. I wish I had thought to do this with other surgical scars! This Vit E doesn't have a strong odor like the bottle I got at a health food store and this was a little less expensive. I'd give it 10 stars if I could!

This stuff is the best I've found on the market. Lasts a long time, very versatile for making and helping preserve carrier oil mixtures. Been using this brand for years. It's delivered quickly too!

A lot of people in the comments don't really understand what they are texting about as Vitamin E oil is supposed to be very thick in consistency. I am guessing they are used to the diluted forms of vitamin E mixed with other oils. This is a concentrated form of Vitamin E oil extracted from Wheat Germ and you can rest assured that it's not the synthetic version of Vitamin E that is often found commonly today. I like to use it mixed with my Jojoba Oil for application on my skin. Keeps my skin from being too dry. I have been using this for about a year now.

I would not recommend this on the gooeyness. Extremely thick and un spreadable. Maybe good for small spots you could put a bandaid over, but not for moisturizing in general.
