Clyde's recommends and sells this product for leather. It is acetone and after ruining a car seat found out the hard way. This product is garbage. So is their customers service

This is clearly acetone and will not only strip the factory coating but parts of the leather as well. It left patches on the side bolster that I was trying to redye.

I don’t understand why others are complaining. This product is meant to strip your leather to remove the finish so the recoloring balm can be absorbed. Product works just fine, but it is entirely too expensive.
