Q: Is it worth buying, or add money to buy a better brand ?

May be good to mod but on my new one the nut fell off where the lead goes in, had to unscrew the plate and pull the insertion clip piece out of lead insertion hole and tighten nut and put the lead holder back into guitar and screw holding late back on, now it swivels around when the lead is inserted, mass production is not always spot on.

Teles are pretty good for country and western and traditional rock, such as rolling stones etc, etc. You can get a good rock tone out of the bridge pickup, its fairly biting and sounds good. You can also use them for indie such as travis, coldplay etc, etc.
