I bought this Every Man Jack Beard Balm for my husband, hoping it would tame his scraggly, slightly questionable beard. Little did I know, I was about to turn him into a majestic, woodland creature.The moment he applied it, his beard went from “I just woke up in a bush” to “I chop wood for a living and read poetry by candlelight.” The scent? Incredible. It’s like a rugged mountain man just gave you a bear hug and whispered, “I respect nature, but I also drive a Jeep.”Not only does his beard look healthier and shinier, but he now walks around the house like he’s the star of a men’s grooming commercial. He casually strokes his beard while pondering deep thoughts, and I swear I heard dramatic background music playing when he did it.Would I buy this again? Absolutely. If you want your husband to go from “meh” to “manly wilderness king,” this is the balm for you.10/10, but don’t be surprised if he starts calling himself “The Alpha.”

My beard loves this stuff. I just use a dab with my boars hair brush and it calms the hair right down. It also smells great.

I hate what they’ve done with the formula. It doesn’t hold the beard well anymore. It’s thin and cheap feeling. People would ALWAYS compliment my beard before, but this just doesn’t hold the same way. Looking for another brand.

This was the first balm I'd used starting years ago. Figured there had to be other brands I would like so I've shopped around and tried some others recently - feels like every other product doesn't hold as much as it suggests, smells weird/perfumey, and makes my beard too shiny.I've got some more coarse/wirey facial hair that can be tough to tame and EMJ balm is the only one that can reel in those flyaways in my mustache and add just enough weight to pull my beard back in.Haven't tried other scents from EMJ but sandalwood is an easy favorite compared to other brands I've tried.
