DRIFT MANIAC 8 Speed Freewheel 11-34 11-32 13-28 13-32 Epoch E-Bike Sprocket 8spd

The photo is a little old, but shows the freewheel pretty clearly. I updated my Mongoose Hitch to an 8-speed to get more range when I electrified it with a BBSHD kit. My bottom bracket width was 112 mm, so I used with the 120 mm kit with spacers. With this setup, I have a very good chainline allowing me to use all 8 gears of this freewheel. Since the photo was taken, I have updated the chainwheel from 36T to 42T (with the same, minimal offset of the 36T) so I could contribute to pedaling at higher speeds and spread wear across the cogs, rather than wearing out just the 11T cog from using it most of the time. The chain never comes off with either chainwheel, which are both narrow/wide. I find this setup to be perfect for the types of riding I do. The 34 tooth sprocket has the worst chainline, but provides a good "granny gear" when I occasionally need it for steep hills. The 11 tooth sprocket allows me to pedal productively at 30+ mph. I'm real happy with this setup, it shifts smoothly and makes the bike a real joy to ride! My only regret is that the freewheel and chain needs to be replaced every 1000 miles or so due to the wear caused by the powerful BBSHD. It would be nice if could last a little longer, but this setup is so much fun that it is a small price to pay. This freewheel is a must-have for me!

Fast shipping and a reasonable price. I bought this to upgrade from the factory 7 speed freewheel to 8 speeds. It shifts smoothly and the extra 32 tooth low gear is nice for hills or riding with pedal assist turned off. Definitely good quality and I highly recommend it.

Well engineered. Not big on the chrome look, prefer black. However to each there own. Came in its own box so no damaged teeth from being shipped in a Amazon bag. My unit is a 11-34. It is such a close thread fit be sure to clean off the mounting threads on the hub before you spin it on... or you may not get off, if need be, in a re-usable condition.

The media could not be loaded. This freewheel lasted for exactly one ride. It was installed on a non-electric bike under casual road and dirt trail use with very little elevation. Purchased in October, installed on the bicycle the first week of December, and ridden once. It sounded like metal exploded inside it, and now the freewheel spins freely, so the bicycle goes nowhere. It was a cold walk home last night. The product page does not appear to have any information about a manufacturer's warranty and the return window on this item closed very quickly. I'm not able to find any information on how to contact the seller as I appear to just get locked in loops trying to contact them. I would love to hear from the seller. I don't like wasting money and I'd like to try a replacement because the gearing for this particular freewheel, along with the proclaimed "durability" of the product is what lead me to buy it.
