It works.
This is adapter works well.I used it to connect my dell laptop to monitor through a displayport cable. I used cable that has displayport connections only.

Allowed me to use extra DisplayPort connection on my monitor
This product worked well for me. My new laptop did not have a DisplayPort output; only an extra USB-C DisplayPort-compatible output. With this adapter, I can use an extra port for my 3rd monitor with a DisplayPort connection for which I already had a cable.

Works with MacBook Pro M3 Pro chip
Finally found something to work with my dual monitors where it shows an extended view rather than a mirrored view. I now have 3 screens, my laptop screen plus the dual monitors and all have three different views. One monitor goes into the Thinkpad docking station and the other monitor goes directly into the laptop. Display settings finally recognize 3 displays. Took a lot of cables to finally get this working!

Good unidirectional adapter
only works one way, pluged to the pc/mac. Do not work to connect to the usb-c port of the monitor.
