Pricey Comfort
It's probably the best helmet I have thus far because when I put it on my head can immediately tell the difference in the weight thus make an extremely comfortable yet functional. I'll probably add a reflector to the back for night riding since I bought the camouflage color.

Good value for a nice road helmet...
I've been using Giro helmets for the past 7+ years, from the upper-end to mid-level versions. Bell's recent innovations led me to try switching brands. I was not disappointed. The retention system on this helmet is similar to Giro Roc Loc Air found on upper-end models at a fraction of the price. It floats (as the system is named) just above your head and disappears during the course of a ride. Ventilation is good for this level of helmet. My sunglasses do not interfere with the retention system and slide into the front vents snugly when not wearing them. The padding on the front rim that is designed to keep sweat from the eyes works well, but when climbing it can lead to some sweat hitting the outside of your glasses. I can't speak to durability, but it seem well constructed. I would buy this helmet again.

Good but little pricy
The fit is snug without being overly tight, ensuring both comfort and security. While it may not rank as the most stylish helmet on the market, its straightforward design gets the job done. All in all, it's a suitable option for individuals seeking a helmet that prioritizes fit and functionality over extravagant aesthetics. I opted for it due to a recommendation from The New York Times, as I couldn't locate the one they initially suggested. However, the chin strap clip is somewhat annoying.

MIPS Light Weight Comfortable Helmet
Overall -- 4 stars. Here's my breakdown:5-STAR FEATURES (love):- bright red color for visibility (black background) and a match with my bike colors.- light weight.- the inner shell retention system easily adjusts using a ratchet system (twist knob at the back) -- good, crisp clicks, yet easy to turn.- the straps are light and airy, lying flat and don't touch my ears -- unobtrusive straps. Best I've had.- the fit is comfortable. I was near the cusp of medium and large, so I bought a large, but a medium may have worked -- yet the helmet does not flop around on my head as a previous helmet had done. NOTE: the helmet will fit a rounded head better than a narrow head like mine -- EVEN SO I highly rate the fit.- MIPS, especially at this price point. Great value for the money.4-STAR FEATURES (like):- helmet appearance from the side- vents, air flow3-STAR FEATURES (just OK):- quick release fastener below the chin is small-ish and takes me a bit to squeeze it properly to release it.- after adjusting the chin strap to the proper point, I had about 3 inches of unused strap flopping around (so I used electrical tape to secure it to the strap -- problem solved).2-STAR FEATURES (don't like):- although the fit is comfortable, I have a narrow head and the helmet looks wide. That said, this is an on-going problem for me and you probably can disregard it as a concern for you.OTHER:- I had no issues fitting my helmet mirror to the helmet. It fit so well that for now I am skipping anchoring it with a zip tie.- I bought a "used" warehouse helmet -- it was in perfect condition -- for $20 less than the already good price.- I've not had this helmet very long. If need be I'll revisit and update this review (4/6/2020).

Great product!
Very adjustable and great fitting. I have a large head I wear a 7 3/4 fitted hat and I have foubd a lot of helmets sit high. Not only does this helmet fit lower but it is very adjustable both helmet and strap. I will say the plastic strap for the adjuster does show on the side if you have a large head because it’s expanded further then average. The foam in the front does an excellent job keeping the sweat off your brow.

Great fit and price for MIPS protection
This was a huge upgrade to the 15+ year old Giro I had. Fits my huge noggin and feels very secure! Very happy with this especially for the price.

Pleased
I purchased this helmet to replace one that was over 5 years old and needed to be replaced. The Bell helmet is very comfortable. It has vents that during warm weather allows for good ventilation, compared to the helmet I had. I also like the fact it is MIPS rated.
