100 PCS Solder Seal Wire Connectors Heat Shrink Solder Butt Connectors Waterproof Insulated Electrical Butt Splice Wire Terminals, Blue 16-14 AWG

I used a heatgun set to 200 degrees C. This worked OK but it is difficult to see if the solder ring has melted properly. It doesn't change colour but stays just a dark grey. I tinned the wires and used a no-clean flux on them to be sure. Tugged each wire to check and did a resistance check as well. They all seemed to be good joints.

Had a lot of wiring joints on a motorcycle that had been made a shambles of which where connecting/disconnecting as the bike was ridden, I set about removing said poor joints and used these to get a good connection and solid joint. So easy to use, I just used a heat gun to warm the solder and shrink tube.

They work just as the description says no issues and no fuse, its perfect for when you cant solder wires together for any reason, and the cable is even stronger then before, the solder melts very easy when you use a heat gun thank you..

I've had several different brands of these and these ones are the worst ive ever had, ( Lidl ones were the best!) The solder just really doesnt want to melt, by the time is has the rest of the plastic and your wires/anything nearby has already gotten ridiculously hot . I tired lots of different heating techniques, always the same issue with these ones

I use these all the time for connecting wires for my Robot lawn mower wires and external electrical appliances. I use heat shrink tubing on top of them to protect them and ensure the connection stays waterproof. I do need a heat gun to fit them easily and quickly. I have used them underwater without a problem.

very very usefull joints, especially if your tight on space and have to join wires in a tight space, very handy on boats that have been built for a long time ! stronger than the wire itself and shrink nice and firm with sealing glue for marine applications.only downside is dont leave them in a hot place or you will find one end shrinks before you get to use them lolTOTALY MY FAULT
