It works!
I was really concerned that the battery charge wouldn’t last long enough to do my hair but it does. I bought this for an international trip so I wanted something lighter weight and the usb charger made it a no brainer. I have medium length hair and this worked faster and better than my plug in straightener at home. It’s expensive but for me it is worth it.

Great device but do not fly with it!
Great straightener but kind of useless for its purpose. There is no clear guidance on GHD which country allows the product. I had to throw it away after 1 week usage as Japan does not allow it even in hand luggage. I do not understand why they don’t make the battery removable. If that was the case there would be no issue to flying. So far I know for sure that Japan and New Zealand do not allow it. Who knows how many more countries…

Best Travel flat Iron EVER!
No need to worry about ruining your flat iron or traveling with adaptors. This plugs into usb for charging and is hot and lasts through one flat iron use for medium to long hair. GREAT when traveling to Europe!!!

Charge does not last long
Everything I've ever owned from brand has been amazing. This was my first disappointment. The charge on this device only lasts less than ten min., it heats up quickly but must use all the juice to get there. I have fairly thick but straight hair and I can't get through my entire head before it loses power. Expected more for the price.

Charged with Type C
Practical. I take it with me in the car without an electrical connection. My hair is long until the end of my back. The charge ends after the first and complete use on your hair, and you have to charge it again completely. So when I start using it on my entire hair and finish, the charge ends with the last use on my hair strand.

Battery life is ridiculously short
Purchased because I religiously use ghd straighteners and I'm very pleased with the cord versions. This cordless battery stays charged for less than five minutes. It's performance for those 5 minutes is good, but the battery life isn't enough to make much of a difference on touch-ups.
