I ordered this product on another website which charged shipping. Now that Amazon carries it I ordered immediately. Quality is very good, I prefer a glass jar rather than a metal can. Sardines are plump and delicious, olive oil keeps them moist. Ortiz sardines became a staple in my pantry.

These are very good sardines. Great flavor. I like the packaging. They were wrapped tightly in bubble wrap, etc. no way they were being damaged. Most importantly was the flavor. I would reorder these.

Paper seal was broken and jar top seal was released which leaked olive oil in the package. Also description states two jars but only one was mailed. There is ‘no return’ on this product. Wasted money!

Best I’ve ever had

I eat a lot of sardines and have tried just about all of the well known and " gourmet" sardines available. Ortiz is the best sardines in my opinion. Every jar and can that I've had has been absolutely delicious. The sardines are meaty with excellent flavor. They're a little pricey ,but in the case of Ortiz Sardines, you're definitely getting what you paid for.

This is, no doubt, an expensive item--so it's an occasional treat for me. The sardines are wonderful, buttery and smooth tasting. I'm sure this taste is attributed to a high quality olive oil used. In addition, the taste is very homemade. I recommend trying them for yourself. I ordered these through Whole Foods via Amazon delivery.

twice in a row at least one of the jars came broken. They were wrapped in bubble wrap, but evidently should also be packed in their own box to help buffer against shocks. If you have pride in your product, please show it.

Was disappointed that they were not securely packaged! Greasy oil was everywhere & one corner of the nos showed an oil stainNo jars were broken but I’m concerned eating them if the seal is not tight??
