Authentic Benifuuki tea in convenient powder sticks
Benifuuki tea is a cultivated variety of Japanese Green Tea that has shown health benefits against allergies and hay fever. It is rich in methylated catechins and contains the highest content of EGCG. This tea from Japanese Green Tea Co. comes in a powder form packaged in convenient packet sticks. The powder is super fine and can be mixed in hot/cold water or milk (as a latte). It has an unique, pleasant flavor with very little bitterness or astringency to it. The aroma is nice and refreshing as well. This comes packaged in a resealable, printed foil pouch for the Japanese domestic market. It has an English label with instructions and nutrition facts affixed to the back of the pouch. There are 14 sticks in the pouch. Each stick contains 0.6g of the powder, which is supposed to mix in 3.5 oz. of water or milk. It is suggested to take 4 times a day for allergy relief. Overall, I enjoy this tea. Good flavor and helpful for allergy. At $1.14 per stick, it is a little pricey though. Anyway, a good, authentic Benifuuki tea.

Pungent and bitter
I opened the tea pouch and discovered I had 14 green tea powder to go packets. The packaging suggests that there should be 30 packets so I am unclear as it how many comes for $16 price tag. Looking closely at the nutrition facts, the label says the servings per container is 14 packets. The labeling is quite confusing.I mixed one packet in 3.5 oz of water. It smelled grassy and it tasted bitter as expected. I decided to add another ounce of hot water in hopes that it would a bit easier to drink. Adding more water helped me better enjoy it. I have only drank 3-4 cups at bedtime and I feel like it relaxes me.I don’t have allergies so I am more interested in improving my metabolism and relaxation. I don’t know if 14 packets are enough to yield the full results of this tea but I intend to finish the pouch and re-access whether it had helped with my metabolism. Overall I enjoyed the tea and I like how easy it is to prepare but the contents, instructions, and labeling are all very confusing. It’s difficult to use as directed and it makes it hard to obtain the full benefits that this product may offer.

Convenient Packets Help Reduce Seasonal Allergy Symptoms
I like green teas in general, but benifuuki is especially helpful during spring when my allergies flare up. I find a hot cup is soothing as well as helpful in reducing uncomfortable sinus issues. It’s an easy fix and much more natural than over-the-counter meds. This particular powder is slightly bitter, but not much more than most green teas—I like the slightly astringent, grassy taste. I especially like that this comes as convenient packets (14 total)—great for travel or work. There is a bit of sediment, but I find that’s the best part of the tea. Although not listed as one of benefuuki’s health benefits, I find my arthritic knees feel much less achy after drinking a cup or two—that was a pleasant surprise, and a much appreciated perk.

GROSS!
Would give 0 stars if possible. Don’t waste your money. It is disgusting and doesn’t make tea. It is water with chunks in it.

Super delicious
I’ve tried Benifuuki Japanese green tea bags by this same brand before and I loved it. But, I think their powdered version of this tea tastes even better. It’s not too bitter, the taste is balanced and just right. It also has many health benefits like alleviating allergies, improving skin health and your metabolism. This tea powder dissolves really well in hot water. I have not tried mixing it with cold water or milk yet but it says you can. It doesn’t say that you have to have your water at a certain temperature.I would recommend this tea for green tea lovers and tea connoisseurs! It’s delicious!

So nice!
This is great quality. I like that each tube is individual to make your tea at work, on the go, or easily in the morning/afternoon when you REALLY need a pick-me-up. No complaints or issues to report. I like that it's from Japan and is nice quality. Tastes great!

A 3 Day Supply
I've never tried benifuuki tea before, but have had a lot of matcha tea powders. Based off of the tea powder shown in the listing photos, I expected the benifuuki to be bright green like good quality, fresh matcha. I was really surprised to open the tubes and find dark, oxidized looking tea powder. I have no experience with other benifuuki tea to compare this one to - but based off of how it's presented in the listing, dark, stale looking tea powder was not at all what I expected. The tea comes packaged in individual sticks. It's maybe convenient for travel, but somewhat wasteful for use at home. The individual packages are very long compared to the amount of powder in the tube - there's only 1/4 tsp in each one. These are meant to mix with only 3.5oz of water of milk. It's a very small serving. You get 14 tubes , but on the back of the main packaging it says to use this 4 times a day - meaning this entire package of all 14 sticks will only last you 3 days. 3 days is realistically not enough time to notice any difference from using this, so I can't vouch for its allergy relief claims.I'm somewhat unenamored with the benifuuki. It doesn't look fresh, produces tons of trash versus product, and if used as directed, a 3 Day supply is a pathetically small quantity to sell this in.
