I have been purchasing this salmon oil because of the great benefits my Golden as received from using it in his food. I just ordered it in the bigger bottle just to save a little bit in cost. The larger bottle leaks all over when I try to apply it to his food, anything I saved by purchasing is now a loss, may as well flushed it down the drain, Very disappointed in the pump design. Will not order again.

Someone donated a bottle of this to my foster dogs. That bottle was great so, next round, I buy a bottle from Amazon.The salmon oil is great! It seems to be really helping a older foster regrow his lost hair. All of them have beautiful coats!Update: I found that if I burp the container every few uses, the containerDoesn't get so deformed and no product is wasted.I just unscrew the top of the pump and light press on the part that puckers with use, the container doesn't leak or get misshapen.The product inside is perfect and works wonderfully on the coat of my elderly rescue dogs.Until thry improve the container, burping the it really works.The BAD news: so much is wasted and ends up all over my hands and counters. It's SO bad that I have to always have paper towels underneath.This stuff isn't cheap so wasting it is unacceptable.I will NOT order it again and that bums me out.

It’s a great product and my cats love it. Only issue that prevents this from having 5 stars would be the leakage issue I’ve come across multiple times. I tend to have to clean it pretty frequently. Other than that it’s a great product overall! Just needs a different and more sustainable approach to the design!

I've used pricier local salmon oil before and I was excited to try this one. The oil quality seems good. My pup likes it at least as much, and it has all the great benefits I expected: shinier and softer coat, healthy for her. But there is one glaring annoyance: the absolute piece of trash bottle they provide to dispense the oil. It deforms with every pump, it leaks oil in a constant dribble (or maybe a pinhole leak somewhere, or both?). I have to keep changing paper towels off the counter that get soaked with it, wasting product, making my kitchen have a faint fishy smell (thankfully the smell is mild), and just generally being a pain. Could you not spend the extra few pennies to get a quality bottle? I have since ordered a 16oz glass bottle to use instead. I do not know if I will reorder this product, despite the quality of the oil (and that I've basically already solved this problem going forward myself) just from the lack of care from the producer to include a dispenser that isn't awful.

TLDR: All 4 dogs who were previously on a different label salmon oil coats went from glossy and thick to thin, flaky, and dullish in only 2 mo. The bottle is also a pain that collapsed in on itself with every pump so you have to unscrew it with every use and trrrry and pop it back out. Can’t recommend this product.We used to give salmon oil to our show dogs and it worked amazing in giving them thick shiny flake free coat so much so we started using it for all our rescues and fosters. I switched to this brand because it was a little less expensive and we have 4 dogs atm so cutting cost where we can is a must. Unfortunately after switching this brand the change in coat wasn’t a good one. My dogs are now constantly itching and their once shiny coat is now dullish. With anything new I’ve been trying to give them time to get used to the change but we’re going on the second month and they’re itching non stop, the coat on their back is now noticeable thinner, increased shedding, and it’s all 4 of them with this product being the only change. Also the bottle itself constantly collapses with every pump so you have to keep opening it and trying to pop it back out. Unfortunately can’t recommend this brand for dogs coats at this time.
