Princeton MCAT Review
My son wanted these books to study for the MCAT. He states they are easy to navigate, provides plenty of information and plenty of practice questions. I'm hoping it also helps him in Organic Chemistry this next semester. Worth the money if he does well on the MCAT the first go round. I will know come this next Spring and update my review!!

My lifesaver for mcat
I am a pre-med and these books are very helpful. It's good to review the contents that I have forgotten and it has practice problems which is very helpful. They also write tips on how to approach a problem and how to solve it during the exam! not to mention this is a set of all the subjects that are in the mcat so this is perfect!

No Index--> get Kaplan
Hey there! I thought that I would try this brand for MCAT prep. But I found that without Princeton Review including an index it is very difficult for me when I have questions about concepts, to find answers. I have to literally search through an entire book. It is hard to understand why they did not include an index. After a week of study and the additional time I have already spent searching for key concepts I needed to review, I decided to order the Kaplan set in addition. If you are going to get one set, this would NOT be my first choice!

Some books poorly written; assumes too much background
The physics/math book was great, but the biology book is incomprehensible. I'm internet-searching at least 5 terms per page because they have a habit of using terms without explaining them. The terms that they do explain are done in an unnecessarily complex manner (with all the organic/bio-chemistry concepts)I recommend them to rewrite it so there's a clearer introduction to each concept at the beginning rather than jumping straight in. This doesn't even feel like it's written in English. It's just facts every sentence without any intuitive justification, which contrasts the casual, more conversational tone in most other Princeton booksUpdate 24.02: General chemistry was great, but the organic chemistry textbook is a nightmare to understand. The author is either trolling or under the impression that the audience has extensive background in the subject. Very difficult to comprehend a concept when you lack visualizationUpdate 24.04: Biochemistry felt redundant as there is a lot of overlap with the final chapters of organic chemistry. Psychology book is very easy to follow along
