Every household needs this book
This is such a great book that my husband buys one every year. He uses it for rabbit breeding days. I use it for trivia, lots of old-fashioned wisdom, great recipes, and a reference book. Every household should have a copy!

Get your Almanac every year!
I love my Farmers Almanac books. Each one teaches you so much and just offers so much information, tips, tricks and important knowledge that every person should know. I get one every year and spend all year reading it. I definitely recommend getting yours!

Fairly accurate every year. Farmers have been using yearly for spring planting.
Easy to read and understand. Fairly accurate with snow in February 2025. Read each year, to get insight for coming weather and to prepare to anticipated weather.

It was good at the time
I bought this in 2022, and it was good for about 12 months or so. Then, it wasn't all that useful any more. I bought the next edition, and the one after that. Over-all the Old Farmer's Almanac is a wonderful source of information and fun.

Good? Or, Waste Of Money? Well, That depends on You!
I bought:The 2023 Old Farmer's Almanac Trade Edition (Old Farmer's Almanac, 231)I live in a very rural location.Although I hve lived rural for 30+ years, I've never bought or even looked at one of these Old Farmer's Almanac's before, as I am not a farmer, rancher.I'll occasionally attempt to grow a few flowers or a few veggies and peppers, but I've never really been into gardening.I had heard a lot of good things about the Old Farmer's Almanac for many years. So, since we are having food shortages in my location and fresh HIGH QUALITY veggies have been difficult to find, I decided that this year I'd buy one of these Old Farmer's Almanac's and try my hand at growing a small veggie garden this spring. So, I bought the 2023 Old Farmer's Almanac "Trade Edition"The Trade Edition has a a thicker, glossier cover than the Classic paperback version. It also has bright, white, book-like pages, but no hanging hole!.The pages are also just slightly larger than the Classic edition. So the "Trade Edition" is more like a soft cover book than the regular "magazine" version and I figured it would hold up better for my use.BUT FOR MY ACTUAL GARDENING USE????? Ha Ha!As far as the content? Well, I'd guess that is up to the individual who buys this. For me, this book seems like it is chock-full of old wives' tales and superstitious BS.The actual weather/gardening/planting/animal husbandry stuff is all based on Astrology!Yep! Not Astronomy, but ASTROLOGY!So, to me, this is basically a bunch of silly nonsense, as I do not follow Astrology. Also, there seems to be a lot of ads in this book and I was not expecting that.In Conclusion:This a somewhat entertaining book, for about 5 minutes! It looks kind cool, and it could be fun for my big=city friends and relatives to browse through when they come to visit. But for my own use, this was a total waste of $8 for anything serious.I could have bought a delicious XL Latte at my local small town's market's coffee bar to enjoy instead!Next year, I will pass on any more Old Farmer's Almanacs, and I'll just get the Latte instead!
