I wished I had bought this sooner, easiest one of the best purchases in our house.The product design is amazing, reminds me of apple product. So neat, tidy and the attention to details is just top notch. It’s a pleasure to unbox it, install it and to use it. What really amazed me is how clean it keeps the water. I wash it and change filter etc flooring the app reminder. I am so surprised to see literally there is nothing to clean which shows how well the filter system works. I’ve used petmate for years and just wished I never bothered about that product which always appears dirty after a few days of cleaning. I literally can’t rave about this product enough. If you have any doubt investing in one of these, stop thinking and just get one. I love the app too. So user friendly. It gives you a little reminder for adding water, changing filter, cleaning etc. you can also set how often you want to run the filtering cycle. My cats took 2 a day or two to get used to it but they love drinking from it now.

I recently purchased the PETKIT Cat Water Fountain with the UVC Wireless Pump, and while my initial experience had a hiccup, I am overall very pleased with both the product and the customer service.Performance:The fountain itself is fantastic. It’s quiet, sleek, and my cat absolutely loves it. The water flow is perfect, and the UVC sterilisation feature gives me peace of mind knowing the water is clean and safe for my pet. The design is modern and fits nicely in my home.Initial Issue:However, the first unit I received had an issue where it did not detect a water shortage. This was a concern as it could potentially run dry, which isn’t ideal for maintaining the pump’s longevity or ensuring my cat always has water.Customer Service:The customer service was exceptional. Upon contacting them about the issue, they were prompt and very helpful. They facilitated a return without any hassle, and I was able to order a replacement unit.Resolution:The new unit arrived quickly and, unlike the first one, it accurately detects water shortage. This added feature has made a significant difference, and now I can rest assured that the fountain will alert me when it needs a refill.Conclusion:Despite the initial problem, I am very happy with the PETKIT Cat Water Fountain. The product works beautifully, and the customer service experience was excellent. If you encounter any issues, rest assured that they will be resolved efficiently. My cat and I are very satisfied with this purchase, and I highly recommend it.

This is a good well thought out fountain and is generally good.The water purification work well and the fountain design stops the cats from popping the top off, which my Bengals keep trying to do!Cleaning is easy as the wet side just lifts away and there is a lot of stainless steel, so cleaning is a breeze.One of the key reasons I bought it was for the smart notifications. Well they aren't smart at all. All you can do is set scheduled reminders every few days, no different than setting a repeating alarm on your phone.I was expecting a notification message when the pump stops because the water level it too low.It does not do this. For this price I expected more, as other smart devices have push notifications.

We have two Siberian boys who are 11 months old. When we got them 8 months ago, we weren't sure how quickly they would adapt to a water fountain (aged 3 months). All the more when going through the trauma of rehoming and suddenly changes to their life.We started off with standard water bowls which were constantly knocked over/ covered in fur / kibble dropped into it.I set up the petkit fountain in minutes (the longest part is a 10 minute soak of the filter) and both boys adapted to it in minutes.The water filter does a fantastic job, the pump virtually silent, and maintenance a breeze.We refresh the water twice a week (and have useful app reminder), and give a clean fortnightly. I highly recommend smart mode which cycles on for 3 mins, then off for 3 mins. Not only does this reduce electricity, but doubles filter life to 60 days.The filters are the consumables, but I think fair value.We ended up buying a second to use on the top floor. We wanted to be sure cats were hydrating properly during hotter weather.

I have many water fountains and they are usually pretty flawed. The biggest complaint with other brands is that the filter smells after a period of time. The Petkit filter doesn't. Maybe it has to do with the UVC pump. What I do know is that I have full confidence in this unit and my cat happily drinks from it. Other fountains are fiddly to clean - this so simple. It even comes with a brush and tweaser combo to help take the pump apart. No wires to worry about either. The base is like a wireless charger - it powers the pump without cables. Just lift off the main unit and give it a good clean. Take the pump apart and do likewise. I clean it every week and I don't even need to top-up during the week.I can honestly say this is the best pet water fountain I have used.

Just received it today. It’s not wireless. Has to be on the base to function. No motion detector. Is silent which is important, but seems incredibly overpriced for what it is. It seems a bit tall, but time will tell. Cat has not drunk from it yet.Update - I foster cats; of 6 cats not one has even attempted to drink from it. I wish I bought the one with the tap like spout.
