Worth every penny
I can't say anything bad about this product . Works great looks great and it fits perfect into a old dryer vent. Good job on this one

Decent quality though not quiet enough for my use.
A decent fan that moves a moderate amount, unfortunately not quite enough for my planned use in a living area. Other reviewers have pointed out that it has no switch but that would have be simple enough to add for many users. A good feature is simple packaging - no plastic wraps just a cardboard box with a tab which allowed me to open and check it the fan and return it as new.

Perfect for older bathroom
We converted an old bathroom with just a tub to a tub/shower and added this to the window. A much easier and more economical way to add a fan. Not very loud. Easy to install. My husband bought a remote switch to turn it on and off next to the light and not have to plug in to use.

Works Well
Bought a hole saw, bored through the bathroom wall to outside wall on my tiny home and it pulls a lot of air. Does a great job of keeping moisture down and smells out.

Less air flow than expected
Did not work for my intended use, but it may work for your application.I built my hobby room with seven 4 inch "dryer vents" & dust collection blast gates to connect to airbrush paint booth, laser engraver enclosure, 3D printer enclosure, etc. to exhaust fumes to the outside. My thought was I would install this fan to one of the vents to help with venting the room when needed.** These are the limitations I found for my application... Your milage may vary. LOL **The GOOD:1) Seams well constructed.2 )Thin profile does not stick out that far from the wall.3 )Has two flaps that prevent air to blow back in when the fan is not on.4) Contemporary design, doesn't stick out like a sore thumb when installed on your wall.5) Fits inside of a sheet metal tube of a 4" dryer vent (a little loose, may need calking to seal properly).6) Very quiet when in use.The NOT SO GOOD:1) Power cord is short, about 3FT.2) No ON/OFF switch. Power cord looks to be 18/2 lamp cord so an inline switch would be an easy fix.3) Weak air flow. The CFM was under powered, it would not even push open the light weight flap on the dryer vent. If I manually held open the dryer vent flap the air flow would then increase. This is a nice unit, but under powered in my opinion. If you are not using a dryer vent with a flap and only using it to exchange air in a room it may work for you, although a bathroom type exhaust fan will work far better.

Used in a new construction for kitchen exhaust
So far seems to be working perfectly fine, has a white solid finish so it blends in pretty nicely with the ceiling and seems to be working well to ventilate the kitchen as needed.

Damper is noisy when windy outside.
Fan works great but have it installed in bathroom ceiling with the backflow damper and when wind is blowing outside, it opens the damper and causes a flapping noise as it opens and closes. Very irritating to constantly hear it. Only way I can figure out to stop it is removing the damper.

Super quiet!
My mom has an older home and we weren’t quite sure whether or not this was actually going to work. My husband got it installed and two hour maze. It was super quiet and pretty easy to install.
