Good support, big different in trimming waist bulges
Before and after photos shows use of this zippered waist trimmer corset. Notice a smoother silhouette from front and behind. The corset has strong yet flexible, firm metal bars. The front and back centers are stable and not flexible. The zipper was easy to close after sufficient loosening of the laces. (Tip: for easier zipper alignment, hold the two sides together before zipping up. ) Laces are strong, long, and hold firm and secure. Metal eyelets are attached securely and evenly. Stitching is strong and even. Every thing about this value priced corset is on a level with corsets selling at more than double it's price. I've worn this for a few hours each day.I decided to switch to this corset from a thick, black, cumbersom, hot, medical back brace. I was 4 months out of a complicated and very painful spine surgery. I had been immobile for 4 months and had packed on 25 extra pounds, almost all of it around my middle. I didn't have enough strength to carry a cup of coffee, let alone my own body weight. I began with light tightening of this corset laces to help support my back muscles. I wrapped the excess laces around my waist, then tied in a knot invisibly on the side. I tucked the excess lace into the top to hide them. The strong netted fabric is one of the best features and delivered on its promise to be cooler. This hourglass shaped corset seems best suited to curvy figures.Although Amazon recommended a size XXXL, I chose a 4X, but have now come to believe the recommended size might have been better. I am short-waisted, which this corset is designed. I have a 45" bust, 40" waist, and 50" hips.I am wearing a blue Grace Karin peplum top, paired with a beige Amazon Essentials ponte' pencil skirt.

LOVE LOVE LOVE
I LOVE THIS THING. I recommend getting a size smaller. I'm usually a medium and I got a small and it's perfect., It's a little uncomfortable at first, so I recommend wearing it a few times to break it in if you're wearing it for an upcoming event. It is a great quality for Amazon, 10/10

You pay for what you get. Starts to bend easily, difficult to lace up
Lovely corset really cinches my waist and it’s very supportive. However i wouldn’t recommend it for long term use bc it starts digging into your skin. Very comfortable at first but then starts to bend to fit your body. The pegs have actually started being lose so you pay for what you get. I still love it and will continue to use it for my waist training until I can save enough to get a better one. Would recommend it to other beginners on a budget. Also challenging to lace up it does come pre laced but the adjustment for lacing once it’s on is extremely difficult

The product photos are stolen
I'm 5'6" and 115lbs, very bony with a lot of squish in my midsection. I ordered an XXS. My natural waist is 25" but I have gastroparesis and a bunch of other problems that mean bloating is a continuous problem for me. That's one reason I got the corset. The corset helps prevent and get rid of bloating by squeezing the fluid out of the irritated tissues, which feels great. It also helps with my POTS, as any corset or compression garment does, due to raising and stabilizing my blood pressure.I have a lot of experience with corsets and already own a half dozen of various levels of quality. The product photos for this listing have been stolen from an actual corset maker on Etsy, so you will NOT receive the product in the listing. Instead, the corset that they send you has a slightly cupped rib instead of a conical rib, and overall is much lower quality. That's because the corset in the photos costs $100+ and is not fast fashion from China.HOWEVER. This is still a phenomenal corset for the price. I tested the boning with a magnet and they are metal, not plastic. The corset itself is extremely comfortable. Please note you are NOT supposed to wear any corset next to your skin. Always wear a layer under the corset, or you can get abrasions and other injuries to your skin. People complaining about this mesh being "uncomfortable" don't know how to wear corsets. Wearing this next to your skin for a photoshoot or a night out would probably be fine but you might get a rash and will definitely get waffle print. The mesh this is made of, and the fact that it's a single layer, means it's more breathable and flexible than traditional multi-layer corsets made of cotton twill or polyester. Unfortunately the cotton twill binding on the edges is less flexible than the mesh, meaning the corset will "balloon" somewhat. I'm planning to snip and expand the binding in a few places to alleviate this. I also cut off the sewn-in modesty panel in the back but that's purely a personal preference, there was nothing wrong with it. I've also added detachable garter clips for my compression stockings, which worked well.I have slightly larger hips than is typical, so I have to lace this corset in an A-line to allow for that. I plan to add hip laces to open up the hip spring a little more. This corset is SHORT. I'll come back to this review and add exact measurements but the front busk is about 9". This was surprisingly great for me, as I have a really short waist for my height and have always had problems with corsets hurting my SI joint and sternum. This corset does not do either. It's surprisingly flexible and allows a lot of bending at the waist. If you are tall or have a long waist, this corset probably won't adequately control your pooch or top fat and might create rolls, depending on your use case.Online corset experts will tell you never to waist train with cheap fast fashion corsets, and they're right, but if you have a weird body and a tight budget and you're willing to risk stressing a steel bone out of its channel and know enough about corseting and your own body to tell when you're injuring yourself, I'd say this one is worth a shot. It took me about two months to break it in, but I think you'd figure out whether it works or not quick enough to return it with Prime if you don't like it.Please vote my review "helpful" if it was helpful, I think if enough people call me helpful they start sending me free products or something, idk, but maybe I'd get something nice 🙂

Excellent for the price!
This corset is great. It runs true to size when measured against the manufactures measurements. It was used for a show and worn about 30 times total, and held up well. It was not tight laced, and still assisted with an hourglass figure. The steel boning helped greatly when it came to durability, as plastic boning tends to bend and then not bend back. There was no stretch to the corset, so it held it's shape well. Over all, this is an excellent corset for the price (around $20), and far greater than most I've seen.

Disappointing
I got the black velvet corset. It's really cute and seems well built. However the sizing is extremely off. I've tried two different sizes and both are vastly off. I typically get my corsets from PunkRave and have a consistent size in their products. Planning on returning this for a second time. I wouldn't recommend it.

Interesting fit
Does not fit like expected. The material does not give even the slightest. I thought it would shape your mid area. I'm small so I thought it would work out. It's cute though.
