Being this doesn't have a bunch of extra tubes and holes and such it is a straight forward powerful vacuum just like my grandmother had.

Magnetic bar arrived broken in pieces and the unit itself is very heavy.

Picks up okay but then spits part of it back out again.

We bought this product for our newly installed carpet. Upon completion of the carpet installation one of the installers carried into the house this vacuum cleaner to clean up the carpet before leaving. I asked about the vacuum and he let me 'try it out' on the new carpet. It was easier to push around and it had a 50 foot cord which worked great. I plugged it into the hallway outlet and I was able to reach every room from that one outlet.I liked the 'old school' look of it with no attachments (keep it simple). Our old vacuum has attachments.No bags to buy, just remove the big bag and shake it out.

This is a great vacuum. Love the shakeout bag. It's not too loud and it picks up everything(!) on carpet if you adjust the height properly. Does better than average on bare floors. Has a premium aluminum brushroll. Assembling it was a very easy. Only thing I recommend is to spray silicone lube on all the wheel axles. Rolls much easier and quieter with this trick.

I bought one from Costco that gets used in a commercial environment daily. Works great. It gets a lot of hard use, and I have to replace the belt periodically, but that's to be expected for the kind of use it gets.
