Missing connector, works good, no leaks
The hose looks nice but I won’t know how good it is until I get the missing piece. The threaded female adapter was missing and there is a hole in the plastic bag so it probably is rolling around a warehouse somewhere. I don’t want to ship the whole thing back just for a fitting.I am updating the review because Amazon replaced the hose with one that had the fitting. Now I have tested it and it works great, no leaks and it snaps on firmly.

Cheaply Made and easily blows a hole in them
Hose had a hole upon arrival and I purchased a total of 3 hoses and the 2nd one blew a hole on the 2nd use. NO, I did not drag on anything, it is just a cheap hose

Get the correct adapters for your need
I purchased this to backwash my inground pool. The output for my pool is a 1 1/2 " PVC pipe. With the purchase of an adapter from 1 1/2" pipe to a threaded nipple (US8041 1/2" H X MIPT Male adapter ABS) and a Type A Cam and Groove (Dixon G150-A-AC Aluminum A380 Global Type A CAM and Groove Hose Fitting, 1 1/2" Plug X 1 1/2" NPT Female) this hose is perfect for backwashing the pool. The connection is fast and very easy. There is almost no dripping at the pool equipment end. The hose rolls up easily. The adapters stay on the 1 1/2" PVC pipe output from the pool equipment until you need it next time. I strongly recommend this combination of items that are all available at Amazon.

Make sure this is what you need.
This might work well for what it was intended for. It came on my search for intake pump hose. Just sucks itself and no water can come through to the pump. Wound up switching and using it for the outtake hose. I got the job done but It has a hole and is leaking pretty bad now.
