Love love LOVE this leaf blower! It uses the same battery as my string trimmer, so I opted for this version that comes sans battery. Its is VERY powerful and not nearly as loud as a gas blower. I like it better than the Toro corded blower my neighbor used to let me borrow. Don't tell my neighbor I said that, haha.

Item was easy to put together and works great

Ladies, my husband loved (MY)/this blower so much that it was constantly missing from our home. He was taking it to his office to blow the leaves out of the front entrance. I said (my) because it was a Xmas gift! But seriously, it has great power and comes from a great family of players in yard work. I already had a Kobalt 40V battery from a previous purchase at Lowes Hardware.

I bought this "tool only" as a replacement for an earlier 40v model. I had dropped it, and the latch holding the battery in place broke (my fault).This new Gen 4 does have a lot more power and works well. The lever that allows partial throttle on works much better than previous gen.The only reason I deducted one star is that it appears to drain the battery in-between uses. I have to pull the battery when I put it away, otherwise, the battery would go dead in a week.

I am thrilled with this blower. I already had two batteries with chargers so saved $$$$ by purchasing machine only. It's much more powerful than I had expected. IF you have a 40v battery already and want a light powerful blower I definitely recommend this machjne.
