Much of the work in cooking kabobs is rotating them on a periodic basis to even out cooking. This rack accommodates 7 smaller skewers or larger if positions are skipped and the rack boosted higher. The length is adjustable, with the motor at one end. A 12v power supply saves on using batteries. The gears automatically rotate skewers evenly, at one speed. Recommended for ease of use and time savings.

The skewers are sturdy, sharp and enter easily into their slots. the motor is strong enough, though you want to be careful how you place this on the grill to keep from damaging it. The speed is similar to a rotisserie spit or a hotdog roller you might find on other machines. I like that it came with all the skewers and a dual power motor for when I want to use it camping, just add batteries. A wonderful addition to any avid griller's collection of tools.

The construction is excellent I would have given it a five star if the rotisserie motor that came with it is more robust. its really flimsy and loud and struggled to turn the skewers. Just purchased another rotisserie motor from wayfair and it solved the problem. To bad Amazon doesn't have a selection of these rotisserie motors.

Hello everyone,We've used this electric rack about 20 times so far and it's been awesome. It holds up like it should under the heat and it's powerful enough to keep some serious meat turning. It's been very quiet and it's easy to clean, goota love that!This thing is heavy, too. It's built to last. It's my favorite grilling accessory by far!

The media could not be loaded. It works with batteries but the adapter doesn’t seem to power the motor

They have copied the wrong original! It has 3/8” x 17” wide/long skewers which splits most mushrooms and veggies and is way too long! I had a deep need so modified it for use. Used the skewers from my air fryer, installed a bridge at 11” with pockets to allow the shewers to turn and be retained. My estimation as delivered-USELESS! The only reason I gave it one star above junk is I like the gear train,

The media could not be loaded. This electric skewer turner is a great idea with a good design but for the price point, it could be improved. The first, most evident issue is that the included instructions do not provide enough detail, leaving some parts of the assembly to guess work. The stainless steel frame is not as heavy as expected but still adequate. Some reviewers commented on the flat (instead of round) skewers, but I like that the flat skewers hold smaller pieces of food, like shrimp in place without spinning on the skewers. The motor (electric or battery operation) is not silent. It produces an audible "buzzing" hum but the noise is not intrusive. It does turn the food slowly which seems to provide more even cooking. Overall it's a handy device that beats frequent flipping and burning of skewers on the grill.
