I was happy I bought these soba noodles. They have just the right chewiness and are very tasty in my cold noodle dish

We have neighbors from Korea, and we were discussing food/recipes and such since I had became vegan a year ago. She gave me a receipt for a cold soup, using these noodles. It is a simple recipe from their little part of the country, and she told me I should purchase these noodles. I did, and made her recipe exact. Wow. The noodles were nice and firm, and I could not get enough of them. I have tried other brands of soba noodles since, one of them was made in Australia, but so far nothing compares to these. These are also the darkest I have seen when cooked up. I wish I knew the ratio of buckwheat, but I think it is higher than any of these others I have tried, just by the way it tastes, its texture and by how dark it is. I am hooked on their cuisine and these noodles!!

Got these for cold soba.They're OK, but not as good as other brands. The noodles are a bit mushy and don't have that texture that holds on to the dipping sauce, leading to a bland taste of both the noodle and sauce.When you cook them up the noodles are an odd square shape instead of round.For this specialist noodle for that special comfort dish you're probably better off importing something from Japan.

Follow the directions EXACTLY!! Great with broth or sauce.

Arrived with half of the bundles / noodles totally loose – portions all mixed up.

These tasty noodles are pre-measured so you can plan servings, taste wholesome and satisfying on their own and hold sauces well. I didn't appreciate just how good these are until I tried a different brand and was very disappointed. Amazon, bring these back ASAP!

The starchiest soba I have ever cooked with... pasty, floury taste and texture, even after multiple'rinses' on the second trial.... would rinse 'before' cooking help ? doubt it, but will try..
