I was very dubious about having a TV in the bathroom but it's brilliant.The quality of the picture is superb and the mirror finish when it's not in use is as good and clear as any normal mirror.I would 100% recommend this television, I can't praise it highly enough.

I bought the TV to replace an old, analogue wall-mounted TV in my kitchen. I chose this one as it has a flat border around the back, so it fits snugly against the wall, unlike other 24" TVs that can be wall-mounted but are normally stand-mounted. For those TVs the electronics at the back form a bulge at the bottom, preventing flush mounting.The TV looks very sleek. Mounting it was fairly easy, as I already had a cut-out in the plasterboard and just had to attach the supplied mounting frame to the breeze block with some wooden spacers. To take up the slight irregularities in the plasterboard, I attached a thin strip of foam draught excluder around the edge of the back of the TV (it might be best to use silicone sealant in a bathroom to prevent water running down the back). However, as the sound comes out of speakers behind the TV, the sound in the room was very low, even when set to full volume. At the same time the sound travelled along the cavity between the plasterboard and blockwall all around the house. The solution was to insert high density foam strips in the cavity behind the TV to prevent the sound travelling in the cavity and to remove the draught excluder along the lower edge (where it won't be seen) to let the sound out. This improved the situation significantly. If this hadn't worked, I would have bought a bluetooth speaker and used that instead.The TV was easy to set up, as I'm familiar with the LG web OS and I got it connected to the WiFi very quickly. The mirror finish with the TV off looks very high tech, which was what I wanted to achieve - I didn't want it to look like I'd just bolted a standard TV to the wall. However, there is a drawback when using it in a kitchen, which is that you see reflections from objects inside the room (I should have thought of this, as most TVs are matt black). This may not be such a problem in a bathroom, where you might have the lights off, but in a brightly lit kitchen it can be annoying, especially during dark scenes. On the other hand, I only intend to use it occasionally and its aesthetic appeal when switched off is more important to me than a perfect picture when in use.Another point to note is the green/red on/off LED that shines through the mirror. I found this annoying, but you can switch it off in the menu, so all is well.Overall I'm very happy with it, despite the minor drawbacks.

Great quality & good user interface (have the webOS version). Would like the option to purchase an AC Power Cord Without Leakage Breaker as I have this tv on the wall in the kitchen, surface mounted & the surge protector is in the way, not much need for it where I have it but obviously need surge protection if fitted in bathroom

Iv had this tv 11months and it stopped working due to water ingress,(maybe a seal has broken I don't know) at first it was difficult to contact the company but I managed in the end and they were great about it they asked for a photo of it then sent me a new one out straight away .Great service.

Great looking Mirror TV, although a couple of things to think about, in full screen mode the tv cuts the top and bottom of the screen it doesn't seem to have a true 16x9 display, I have changed the display to 14 x 9. I can't seem to connect using WI-FI and the instructions are of little help I have got round by running an RJ45 cable from the tv which might not be ideal for everyones set up. Buyers beware the TV doesn't come with a uk figure of 8 lead so you will need to buy one or swap out the European plug for a UK plug. Overall the TV seems ok I will add to the review once I get the WI-FI workingUpdate still can't get the WI-FI working so have now decided to continue with the hardwired RJ45 cable. We are very happy with the TV but disappointed we couldn't get the wi-fi working.Further Update 15-09-22 This TV seemed to develop an annoying fault that the screen would go blank when watching a TV programme (power button still green) so you had to re-enter the channel to watch it again. (it only did it when watching live TV). TV swapped by supplier for a new one so hopefully now sorted. Great customer service and kept informed as to progress of the replacement TV which took two weeks to replace

You need the remote control to turn off the tv as the onscreen button doesn't do it, only turns the tv on. Also instructions don't tell you how to log into Freeview over the internet, so you need an aerial lead. We also used an HDMI cable to be able to view sky.
