Makes All the Difference!
I'm a novice DIY'er, and I attempted to replace the compression valve at my toilet. The original valve had been installed over 20 years ago, so it was on pretty good. I tried multiple ways to get the valve off -- pipe wrenches, channel locks, etc., but it wouldn't budge. After watching several YouTube videos, I saw someone use this tool, and I ordered it ASAP. It was easy to use, and it pulled that compression valve right off! I learned lots of things doing that DIY job, but the most important is that the right tool makes ALL the difference.

Simple and Clean Removal
No issues. Worked as intended. Removed the fitting and the pipe looked great. Installed a sharkbite valve after removing the compression sleeve and no leaks.

1/2 inch puller
Worked good ! Do they have a 3/8 puller ?

Worth buying/trying.
Not bad. The length may create usage restrictions. It does work, but gets hard to turn towards the ends. However, that's understandable as removing compression rings can be sometimes.I own a shorter version that works similar. There are pros and cons to both, but I do not regret either purchase.

Compression Sleeve Puller Remove Tool
The media could not be loaded. My confidence in my ability to operate it without much trouble was bolstered by the fact that the metal components were strong and the design seemed to be easy. The fact that the tool has a wonderful weight to it gave me the impression that it was constructed to endure because of its durability. I believe that the design is straightforward enough for anybody to comprehend, even if they do not have much experience in the plumbing field. Upon the moment when it was time for me to make use of the instrument, I felt a mixture of excitement and apprehension. I was able to place the tool on the pipe with relative ease since I carefully followed the included instructions. I was relieved since I was uncertain as to whether or not the previous fits would result in any alignment problems. It was a flawless fit around the compression nut and the sleeve. I proceeded to apply pressure in order to remove the sleeves after I had tightened the tool as my instructor had instructed.

Weak cross bar, bends & breaks
Problem with T-handle. While the rest of the tool appears stout and it threaded onto the old ferrule nut just fine, the cross bar for turning the threaded post to remove the ferrule is very weak. It bends out of shape then breaks rendering the rest of the tool, useless! Some of the pictures on the Amazon site shows that the cross bar ends are pinched and that the cross bar can slide left or right of center allowing for tight turning in close quarters and would allow for even better leverage when more turning force is needed! The tool I received the cross bar was stationary leaving less area to grip for leverage when the turning process gets difficult and in the way when the area your working with is snug up to the wall or other pipes making a full turn difficult to impossible! For me the bar bent and broke off!I can not recommend this tool.

Can't imagine working without it
It makes extracting corroded old compression fit shutoff valves precise and hassle-free. I did two and feel like the tool pretty much paid for itself in the time and frustration it saved me from. Like the title said I'm very satisfied with this tool. I do recommend wearing work gloves. The ergonomics of it could be better but considering the price and the potential footprint it would add, gloved hands are just fine.
