Hands down the best oil for your subaru

I had used STP 80W-90 gear oil in my manual transmission and Mobil 75W-90 in the rear diff (2005 outback). After replacing many other parts, I decided to go the OEM route out of curiosity and wow.Smooth to shift into gear, easy to take off, no more rocking back and forth, no more noises and friction. I am appalled that I didnt trust the OEM fluids first.. Subaru has two engines. Of course they are going to perfect that formulation and they did it well. No complaints other than I was stupid and didn’t buy this first.

OEM fluid used in the Subaru WRX 5 speed manual transmission and also in the rear differential. Always nice to be able to use the correct fluid at a reasonable price!

People weren’t wrong that this Subaru gear oil is what you should buy to run in your WRX transmission. I had some problems with synchros wanting to grind when trying to shift too fast using different brand gear oils. So far nothing but smooth shifting using this.

I went through a phase using 3rd party fluids, but not worth the time to really do the research. 5 quarts is perfect to do front and back differentials on 2021 crosstrek, twice.

Perfect for 5 speed manual. Shifts better an slips right into reverse with no notchiness. Yes I said notchiness. Don’t forget the new crush washer.

Needed for a complete transmission fluid change on my 2018 wrx. Immediately after the change I noticed an immediate change in the smoothness of shifts. Definitely will be picking this stuff up again - it’s really the best price for the outcome.

Appears to be genuine Subaru gear oil! Five quarts seems to be enough for two (2) front and rear gear oil changes. Will buy again from this vendor.
