Have patience when installing. I did it at home with basic tools and a paint can opener. Fixed the long start issue. Check your fuel pressure. 1999 ml320. Lubricate those clips before removing. No need to access fuel pump.

True upgrade. Don't forget to order the new hoses. The OEM would be too short. 22 years later and my MB runs like a champ! My MPG just went from 15.2 to 17.6 (digital reading) in just two days from install. No more hesitation nor misfires after refueling and long driving.

The Evac nipple on this new fuel filter is much larger than on my original Mercedes filter therefore my Evac line would not fit on the new filter. I got by by sticking a Phillips head screwdriver into my rubberEvac line and stretching it out. I was ableto get my Evac line onto the new fuel filter about a quarter inch so I put a tie wrap on it to help secure it I really hope it don't come off...have any problem in the future cuz this thing is a pain in the butt to get to....Note to the seller....This is definitely a problem with the fuel filter that you are selling for my car so you need to correct this please....The only reason I didn't just return then you feel filter is because it is so hard to get to so I modified it insteadUpdate: as the title says just under 6 months and the item is failed now I got to do the repair all over again. Waiting on my refund from Amazon because it's supposed to have a one year warranty
