Fixed my alarm issues!
I used this product today to replace a faulty alarm float switch, and it worked great! My alarm now works like it should! The quality of the product is great, it is easy to install, it works flawlessly, and it is not a bad price either. I definitely recommend this switch for alarms!

Works for our septic alarm.
Replaced a worn out septic alarm float with this one. This is a two wire style type alarm (I believe there are 3 wire styles also, but this one has two wires.) It comes with a large worm gear type hose clamp, which I did not need to use. I tested this float by hooking it up directly to the alarm on the side of my house before I opened up the septic tank and replaced it. Just to make sure the float was the issue and that this style is the correct one. Seems to be built well and hopefully get a lot of years out of it.

Buyer beware... Only 5amps
Failed after 2 weeks. The key product specification is the Amperage...I have two grinder pumps both are 15amp this switch is ONLY 5amps. I imagine it's gonna fail on a lot of pumps...

Works perfect.
Had a bad float in my septic aerator tank. Easy replacement. Works great when wired and test it in up position.

Little Giant CFST 115/230 Volt Control Float SwitchI used this pump float as a replacement alarm control float switch on an existing alarm box. So the amperage rating on the float is unimportant.Now if you are going to try and use this switch to directly control a pump’s operation, then the amperage matters because the wiring on the pump float needs to be able to handle the amperage of the pump. For example a 1/2 horsepower pump can pull 12+ amps. So I do not think this should be wired into the operating voltage of a pump. It should be used with control panels or alarm boxes. Other pump floats can be purchased with a piggyback plug that are rated for direct pump amperage.
