It came aharp as hell and I’ve seen some reviewers talking about the balance but as an ambidextrous user, I find it comfortable for use in both hands. The clip is very secure and though the snap took a little work to get fluid it is a feature I enjoy thoroughly. It feels quality and I feel the cost vs utility is great.

I have several Holtzman blades, and this is one of the nicest. Make no mistake.. it is big. It is not an every-day carry knife. Not one you would take on a multi-day backpacking hike. But if you are going to be camping with a group, this knife pretty much does it all. It would go great in a survival bag, as well. The blade is very sturdy and comes razor-sharp. It’s pretty easy to keep an edge on it and will stand up to chopping, slicing, spearing, hacking… just name it. The grip is nice and beefy, fits the hand very nicely. The kydex sheath that comes with it is a nice, tight fit and is adjustable for vertical or horizontal carry. Also included is a small ferro rod and striker. All in all, it’s a very nice knife. And the green liner just makes it stand out that much more!!

I had been shopping for a decent fixed blade knife. I was browsing Amazon and saw this one and for the price and all the specs I thought this will be the one for me. I wasn't disappointed. It feels wonderful in the hand and does great work. Very sharp out of the box plus it comes with a great kydex sheath, robust ferro rod and striker. Worth every penny. Video coming soon.

Thick blade sharp by far the best knife I’ve layed my hands on grip is comfy and solid case is awsome

Knife was sent oiled, sharp enough to cut slivers of gas pump receipt slips with little effort and ready for camping, hiking, and emergencies. Holtzman's knife is just as sharp as my Benchmade straight from the factory.The KYDEX sheath is fantastic quality with the option to adjust it to what ever size belt you wear with it. The knife, flint rod, and scrapper fits nice and snug in the sheath. Flint rod is a larger diameter than the Gerber Gear "Ultimate Survival Knife". Knife handle is solid and hefty. Holtzman's even sends a basic user guide with visual illustrations to care for your knife and keep it sharpened.This bad boy is in my get home bag with a Spyderco Tri-Angle Sharpmaker and a leather stropping kit.

I thought this knife would be good but I was blown away by how well it's made. The balance is perfect and fits in my hand like it was made just for me. I have confidence knowing that it will handle anything I need it to handle.

This knife set is awesome! I was a bit on the fence ordering this exact knife. I did and I am not disappointed in the slightest! The knife feels very solid, and good construction. The sheath for it feels very durable as well. The scraper and ferro rod are, well a scraper and ferro rod. Great extras. There was a little bit of a hiccup with the order, I messaged the seller. I got a super quick response, great customer service. And resolved the issue very quickly! Given a chance I'll definitely work with this seller again! 5 stars in my book all day long! Thank you!

Once again, Holtzman’s has knocked it out of the park. The new Fireline hits every mark! I didn’t think it was possible to improve on the way the Holtzman’s knives fit in your hand, and then they added a fraction of length to the handle and proved me wrong. This knife feels incredible in the hand, rock solid, and was shaving sharp right out of the box! Absolutely recommend this, as well as any of the other Holtzman’s knives and other products!
