Great locking tuners
I've used Fender locking tuners on several of my Fender electric guitars and it's a simple swap. I would recommend them to any guitar player that needs to change strings quickly. (Like breaking a string onstage!) All you have to do is put the string through the bridge so the ball-end is seated and then open the tuner hole opening by turning the locking knob counter-clockwise. Put the other end of the string through the hole in the tuner, pull it tight, tighten the locking knob clockwise, re-tune and you're done. The string doesn't even make one wrap over the post. To remove the string, loosen the tension on the string, turn the locking knob counter-clockwise and the string can be easily pulled out. The locking feature doesn't make your guitar stay in tune like a Floyd Rose system does, it just makes string changing super easy. Good tuners help keep your guitar in tune after they've been stretched enough and these are good tuners! But you will have to re-tune occasionally.Fender has two styles available: modern and vintage. The ones pictured are the vintage shape with an oval knob. The modern style has the newer diamond shaped tuner knob. These tuners are also staggered with the high E, B and G tuner posts shorter than the D, A and low E ones to give a good string angle over the nut. Not all after-market tuners have that feature.Beware, these tuners fit modern Fender headstocks that have two small pilot holes side by side. They don't use wood screws to hold in place like other brands. The hex nut on top of the headstock does that. For a new headstock like the one in the photos, you'll have to drill the two pilot holes for each tuner yourself. I found a jig online that makes it very easy.

Excelent upgrade to my MiM tele!
I got a set of these for my MiM Standard Fender telecaster (2016). String changing is super easy. The tuning got much more precise and it tunes much faster. I paid 60 dollars for these and they where worth every penny. And YES they are original Fender made in the USA tuners. I did get the vintage set just for looks. Get them you will like them. I had to drill no holes they dropped right in perfectly. Now on to the process of "Tex Mex" pickups, "Graph tech" nut and saddles and my tele will out do any American Standard tele.

Excellent replacement tuners for my American Strat!
No drilling required. Straight 2 peg drop-in on my American Performer Strat, easy peasy. Looks great, and tuning stability is rock solid now, (as compared to stock vintage tuners).Let the bending commence! 🤘

Satisfied with my purchase
I read that sometimes you buy these Fender locking tuners and then you get an imitation of the originals. As far I can tell, they are originals, the packaging was very professional and it protected the tuners very well, the brand is properly marked on them, they do not have any sign of being an imitation. They work great, very good material quality and finishing. In my case, I had to do some work on my guitar to install them, but I new that before hand because I installed them on a Squire guitar and it is not a direct fit. But still, I enjoyed working on my guitar and at the end the fit was awesome. They work and look great.

Tuners
Very pleased with the quality of these tuners. The guy changing them out on my Squire classic vibe 60s did have to make the holes bigger on the back of the head stock and fill in where the holes of the other vintage style tuners were. I'm pleased so far.
