Being a long time fan of the Patchouli scent, I decided I wanted to check to see if there was such a thing as patchouli scented soap, and to my surprise, there is. After browsing a little on the net, I was led here, to Amazon, and this particular product stood out above the others.I could not be happier with it. Here's why:1. The patchouli scent is perfect. Not overpowering and not too faint that you don't detect it.2. It's nice, big bar, and not one that you feel as though you were ripped off by a picture that was taken to make the product look bigger than it is. This bar is a very nice size, and perhaps a little bigger than advertised.3. The price is very, very reasonable. Little over 6 bucks to have such a nice bar of soap delivered. Not too much to spend for a little self-indulgence in my opinion.4. The packaging and look of the product is top notch. A very nice little bow around a tasteful, organic looking box is the perfect complement to it.I'm glad I bought this item and will definitely do it again.

I've been buying this soap for a few years now. It has a nice Patchouli scent, not overpowering. I love it even though I prefer a stronger Patchouli. It cleans very well and leaves no residue. I even use it on what little hair I have on my head. I'm an avid outdoorsman, in the woods and rivers most of the time, and have loved Patchouli since I was a kid in the 70s. I only realized in the last 15 years or so why I never get bothered by mosquitoes or other pesky bugs while others in the same area do. Patchouli! I also wear the oil, pretty much all the time. I love Patchouli. As a side benefit, it attracts the ladies! The best kind. Patchouli lovin women! I can't count how many times I've been in town shopping and approached by strange women asking if that was me wearing Patchouli. Great conversation starter, especially with alluring hippy women.

I received this Patchouli Natural Herbal bar soap quickly and safely. It was well packaged. Right out of the package the soap had a strong scent, not quite the way I remember Patchouli but it's difficult to exactly remember a scent I haven't smelled in 40 years! It was a good smell, and I was eager to try it. I used it in the shower, where I have built in recesses in the tile for soap, razors, shampoo, etc. As soon as the soap got wet, the colors in the soap started to drip and run down the shower wall. The soap is good quality, but after the first shower and the colors running, I suspect that most of the scent was in the outer layer of the soap bar.However, it does still smell like Patchouli after several uses, though not nearly as strong as the first use. It is a nice soap.

Smells like diesel fuel with a hint of patchouli. Just stinks. It does have a cute bow around the box if you want to display it somewhere, like the garage maybe.

Smelled great! Cleaned great!
