I fell in love with these little protectors when I had a rather expensive full-frame mirrorless Canon that did not have an onboard/pop-up flash. All of my other cameras have onboard flashes without protectors to the hotshoe. Of the four protectors I bought, one (Canon XT) is a bit snug but not overly so, and the other three (Canon SL3, Canon T7, Canon 5S IS) fit perfectly with no sense of tightness nor looseness.Note: The pop-up flash doesn't work with the protector in the hotshoe, so if I use the flash (which I don't very often), I just pop it off and sit it with my lens cover - no problem.I like that the metal contacts on the hotshoes are no longer exposed, and frankly, it helps the aesthetics as well. These are great accessories!

I had no problems using this for my Canon R5. Fits nice and snug, feels like it won't break right away and just works. Priced right.

I guess it's true, you get what you pay for. These are a bit overpriced but the finish and fit are spot on. They fit snugly and plug right in to the hot shoe connection protecting the connections and making the area smooth so the rails won't catch on anything. My camera hot shoe was catching on a seam of my camera bag every time I put it away causing a tear. With these the shoe is smooth and doesn't catch at all

Fits the hot shoe of a canon eos r and canon 5d mark iv as well as other cameras Im assuming. Useful to at least have some coverage on days where the flash contacts are exposed to the fog or mist. Do you really need it? Who knows, but for less than the price of a coffee….id order it again.

I was looking for some hot shoe covers to protect my Canon 5D mark iii and my Canon R6 mark ii. I was happy to find these hot shoe covers by Neewer, a brand I have used in the past, which listed in the description that it is compatible with the Canon cameras I have. However, these hot shoe covers were very difficult to push into the hot shoe mounts (to the point I was concerned I was damaging something), yet they were even more difficult to remove. I had to use a flathead screwdriver and pry them out, and even with the screwdriver it was very difficult; it was impossible do get it out by hand. Very disappointed.

After I lost my Canon hot shoe protector, I purchased a small lot of generic replacements. They came off the shoe too easily and were also lost. The Neewer protector has little flexible arms on each side that apply a little pressure against the shoe and help keep it from falling out due to gravity or casual handling. It is still easy to remove the protector with a deliberate slide with your finger or thumb. I'm confident these will be a better solution than my previous attempts. Used on Canon R5C.

A package was delivered only containing Nespresso coffee. The hot shoe protectors were not in the package.

Many that I looked at were cheaply designed and made. These fit my Canon 80D precisely and appear to be very well made. As these things are easily lost or misplaced, the fair price made it a good deal.
