The 5L built-in water tank means I don’t need a water hookup, which is ideal for RV living or any small space without dedicated plumbing. I love the flexibility of being able to set it up anywhere with just an electrical outlet.Cleaning Performance and Programs:The cleaning power exceeded my expectations! With six different programs, I can customize it for different loads. The “Normal” cycle works well for most items, while the “High-Temp” option is great for heavy-duty cleaning. The 360° dual spray gets every corner clean, even with a fully loaded rack. I’ve found it effectively removes grease and stains, and my dishes come out sparkling every time.High-Temp Wash and Air-Dry Function:The 162℉ high-temperature wash is a standout feature for me, as it sanitizes dishes and makes me feel confident that everything is truly clean. The air-dry function is also a great touch, saving time by ensuring dishes are ready to put away once the cycle finishes. It’s super convenient, especially in an RV where counter space is limited.Energy Efficiency and Water Usage:With just 5L of water per load, this dishwasher is very efficient. I noticed that I’m using much less water compared to hand washing, which is essential when water conservation is a priority on the road. It’s a practical and eco-friendly choice, making it perfect for RV trips.Small Points for Consideration:The only small thing to note is the load size. It’s best suited for 1-2 people or light daily dish loads. For larger households or bigger items, it may require a couple of cycles. The media could not be loaded. This is an extremely effective little dishwasher that holds an amazing number of items. Used with Cascade Platinum Plus pods, you will simply not find another machine that gets dishes any more sparkling clean.At first glance you wouldn't think that capacity is very much but, as you can see in the photos, you can really load this dishwasher up. As long as you don't block either wash arm, you're golden, even if you pile items up. For 1 or 2 people it's perfect. No, you're not going to get pots larger than 2 quarts, but you'll fit just about anything else. The blue plastic carrier I use to hold the silverware came from a dollar-type store and works extremely well for me because I always seem to dirty more than the included holder can handle.Do not rinse your dishes first!! Modern dishwasher detergents work with enzymes that need remnants of food to activate cleaning. Rinsing the dishes first actually makes it harder to get them clean. *** I do not use the dispenser cup in the door for my pods. Like shown in one of my photos, I place the pod in the very back corner of the machine. This keeps it out of standing water that will dissolve it too quickly and suds will quickly overcome the wash arms. Just make sure your lower wash arm will turn and not hit the pod. You’ll get better results this way.Originally purchased for the camper, I brought this dishwasher into our home kitchen when the built-in model went on the fritz. It has worked so well that I've been procrastinating on replacing the larger one. I have the portable on a stainless steel table with wheels that allows me to bring it in and out of the kitchen with ease, then store it in the pantry when not in use. It's so simple to pour about 6 quarts of water into the top and use a bucket for the discharged water, but you can also hook this to your kitchen sink faucet to fill automatically. Be sure to clamp the discharge hose to the bucket or make sure it’s securely in the sink drain to avoid messes when you're not looking (don't ask how I know!). The suction cup that comes with the machine is not reliable, replace it with something you feel good about — I bought one meant to hold a handheld showerhead and it is plenty strong.I couldn't be more pleased with this dishwasher and recommend it without any reservations. This is my third appliance make by Comfee', and they are a quality manufacturer (check out their portable washing machines if you really want your mind blown and your clothes cleaner than they've ever been!)
