Effective!
Shocking how effective this is in attracting and trapping the Japanese beetles! Just be wary that the sight of a full bag of crittery beetles is not a sight for all to see.

Beetles SWARM to this brand lure!
This is the only brand lure that works. I live in eastern MA and cannot understate how many beetles they attract. I do not like using the bags because the beetles smell terrible after a few days, so I've adapted to buying only the lures and putting them near a bucket or other water basin for the beetles to drown in. I took the pictures attached to this review ten minutes after opening the lure. You will not be disappointed with how many beetles these things attract.

Different model?
I don’t want to crush these because they technically do their job. BUT, I used them on a bag I purchased last year and it doesn’t quite fit right. The design looks like it should fit, but it doesn’t stay put enough to keep the bag open. Who knows.

Great
I bought these last year. They came with the bag traps that are reusable. I bought the scent replacement bods.

Work like a charm!
They work. The japanese beetles love my northern bayberry bushes. I placed the bag, with lure, about 12 feet from the nearest bush and the beetles come. The bag is constructed well enough to make it through a second summer. The bottom is lined with velcro so you can empty the bag of deceased beetles every once in a while. I empty the bag on the ground, squish any beetles still alive, hose the inside of the bag until clean, repress the velcro strips together and it's ready to go again. I pour some diatamaceous earth in the bottom of the bag to try to kill the beetles as quickly as possible because otherwise it could be a couple of days. :(

Refreshed last years traps!
Refreshed my year old Japanese beetle traps!Hung the old ones with limited success, after installing new bait they worked great. Seems like original bait, smelled like original.Came double sealed, very easy to install, use the inner wrap to grasp the new bait, so no mess.Trap was half full in two days, love these.

Fits the rescue brand beetle traps perfect
Had to put new cartridges into the Rescue brand beetle traps. Works great since now there are a ton of dead beetles already in the trap after just a couple weeks. As u can see from the pic the bag is from last year and worn but it still works as long as you put new cartridges every year
