As described
The product works as intended.As some of the reviews do point out that the chip does get hot, I would like to make a suggestion and ask that you add a heatsink with thermal pads. I installed 2 on mine and so far no issues.Durability is unknown for now. I will try my best to update if anything is to happen.Good luck!

Works, very happy with it.
Had an old laptop with a nice screen and hate throwing things away. This works very well. Mounted it to a board with the LCD and now I have a nice monitor that will slide under the shelf on my electronic bench. Note if you have been using speakers with a 1/8 audio plug and you can't get sound through your HDMI you must turn it on in windows.

Works well with B140RW02 (1600x900 14" 40 pin)
Worked as advertised for AU Optronics B140RW02 (1600x900 14" 40 pin) bare LCD screen. I used this 12V 3A power adapter: SUPERNIGHT DC 12V 3A 36W Adapter Power Supply AC Wall Charger Converter Transformers With DC Jack 5.5mm x 2.1mm for 3528 5050 SMD LED Strip Light and had no problems with getting the board running.

Please use a 2a power supply with this board!
I had read a lot of reviews that mentioned the chip being extremely hot on this controller board, with the 3a power supply amazon recommend it indeed heats up alot. I swapped to a 2a power supply and while the chip gets warm, it does not get hot. No change in function of the board or screen brightness.

Works fine
Works for me. When you are running it for more than 5 minutes, though, the chips on the board overheat enough to hurt my finger. It might be a good idea to anyone who buys this to put a mini heatsink on top of every chip that feels hot. That way, it will run better and last longer.

Awesome controller
This product is great, comes with a manual but it just simply works as expected. Really fast and easy to use.

Hdmi Detection Issue
It’s okay. Does have trouble detecting when an hdmi cord is plugged in. I’ve turn the switch on and off maybe around 4 times, swapped hdmi wires to make sure, before it starts to detect the hdmi (in this case PS4) buttons are limited. Another is was backlight, tho it’s more of a personal preference. Wasn’t able to darken the backlight only brightness and contrast. Still works and used it well up to 5-9 hours of video gaming with no issues
