We use it as a Toothbrushes timer for the kids, males it fun and keeps them brushing.

I use the sand timer to ensure that the teeth-brushing ritual is carried out for two minutes.

I replaced an old timer that never quite worked right (one side jammed, parts were opaque as it got older, it fell apart when dropped, it was awkward to hold so got dropped a lot, etc.). It is such a pleasure to have a timer that works well, has accurate time (2 minutes for tooth brushing), is easy to see if it is working, and is easy for arthritic hands to hold. I would order all the sizes if I had use for them, but this one is a clear winner!

It was a good idea for a game timer. But, it doesn’t work most of the time. Save your money and don’t buy.

If you have an issue with your kids brushing their tooth for 2 minutes, you definetly need this. Somehow this tool makes it fun for them to brush their tooth and they don't have to come to me every morning and night for time keeping.

I bought this for my five year old so he could better understand how long to brush his teeth. He has used it every day since we received it. It has dropped multiple times & is still in great condition. Worth it.
